It s already 2010 but why on the 30 th ANNIVERSARY of this GREAT MILE-STONE of rock, NO- ONE of Queen Production seems to remember or care?
I mean a Special Edition, Cd-Vinyl with FBG, IYCBT, IL , a DVD with some footage with 5.1 surround audio( I am sure they can do it) with some Paris or Madrid video!
At the end it come out this AG that in my opinion it was done to give, to general pubblic(as ever), the name of Queen after the collaboration with Paul Rodgers.
i wouldn't call live killers a great milestone of rock... we're queen fans and all... but I don't think it ranks among the great live albums of all time.... At Budokan (Cheap Trick), Made In Japan (Deep Purple), the recently released How The West Was Won (Led Zeppelin), Alive! (Kiss), MTV unplugged (Nirvana), Live at Leeds (The Who), Live At The Apollo (James Brown)...these are examples of milestone albums... They are among the greatest albums these bands have ever released.
In the case of Cheap Trick and Kiss... and maybe even Deep Purple, it was the live albums mentioned above that gave them their name... the same can be said for Frampton Comes Alive... but I'm not a fan.
For Queen... Live Killers doesn't compare with A Night At The Opera, News Of The World and The Game.... these are Queen's milestone albums... there are people who are NOT Queen fans that own these albums. The same cannot be said for Live Killers...
