Thankyou all! It was a great, great birthday. I have new pants - finally, instead of buying me shirts (of which I already possess a wardrobe full) someone got me some pants. Nice ones at that, very comfy. Bought myself a nice cake, had a couple of friends over, and did it all in total sobriety! Also just asked a really nice girl out. What the hey, it can't hurt can it?? It was very ... nice! Something that's becoming apparent as I get older is that I'm a lot more fluent in the written medium. Maybe I'm just oversensitive to gaps in conversation, but at times I really was stuck for things to say. :\ I'll work on it! In any case it was a lovely night. |
