I hear some child advocacy morons are complaining about Pete Townshend coming to America for the Superbowl?
Those worthless cunts should be fucking thankful he'd even bother with them. Christ, the guy was acquitted...
Ha!! I have to say if I went through all that nonsense in the press that he had to put up with, it'd sure ruin the idea of trying to write a book on the topic ...

pete townsend (guitar)
dave holland (drums) ex judas priest drummer
can anyone think of any guitarist with that "qualities"
You're being a silly cunt; Pete Townshend was a victim, not an abuser - BUT, this is QZ so I'll happily join in!
Anyone ever get suspicious while listening to "Pictures of Lily" and "The Kids are Alright"?
Actually I think the only pedophile to ever play in the Who was Kenney Jones. If he wasn't a kiddy fiddler, he was definitely a horse fucker.... look at his face. He looks like one.

Swell! I'd love to see Roman Polanski directing the music video.
Apparently Pete no longer wants to be in the band.
The 57-year-old had said he used his credit card on one occasion to look at a website advertising child porn "purely to see what was there" and that he found paedophilia appalling.

I just saw WHO at the super bowl halftime - UGH! A great argument for retirement.
Party pooper! For those who didn't see it, they did an abbreviated 'Pinball Wizard', 'Baba O'Reilly', 'Who Are You' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again'. Pete Townshend showed everybody his belly multiple times. It kind of made me miss Janet Jackson's boob. Good songs, played live, hard to go too wrong.

Looked like Harpo Marx & Norton (with the stupid hat) from the Honeymooners! Sounded about that good too. ;o)
I hate football. I watched the whole thing just to hear The Who and the We Will Rock You mashup Brian was raving about, and missed the latter, if it happened at all. Maybe they played it in the stadium. Glad New Orleans won though. Nice for the city after everything.
I hate football too. I didn't get it on soon enough to hear the We Will Rock You bit, but expect Brian to have it at his website, or a link to it. Otherwise I watched the commercials, of which there are more than there is game I think. Watched the Who at half-time and then bailed.
I don't recall any great commercial from tonight. Our all-time favorite is the one from a couple years ago where the horse farted, which was ignited by a candle the gal in the sleigh was holding, and blew up in her face. I suppose that says more about us than it does about the commercial..................
I saw some Doritos. Other than that we got mostly Olympic commercials. Apparently they're in Canada this year or something? Sometimes we forget if something really important transpires in the 6 minute intervals between the endless, swollen, rushing stream of 24/7 reminders.
