All I know is that Two Worlds Apart is definitely in the top 3. |
Jam Monkey 10.01.2010 15:19 |
There aren't that many more than 15 unreleased songs in the first place, not ones that are freely availible anyway, so it's not exactly a hard list to get on to |
Freddie Mercury. 11.01.2010 00:24 |
Stealin is also great:) |
Sebastian 11.01.2010 02:02 |
Stealin' is not unreleased. |

Track 16. I See A Cash Cow (Beach) |

Sandbox had more promise than most of the stuff on The Game, and yet they did nothing with it... Party should have been elbowed for something like You Are The Only One. Self Made Man was a great demo but it would never have made it onto Innuendo. The middle bit was too much like I Can't Live With You. |

1.Face It Alone 2.Face It Alone 3.Victory |

I think Innuendo would have been a great double album if they used some of this stuff. |

I know more unknown stuff than you - Queen |
dokken11 04.04.2010 13:04 |
Holly2003, I never heard of such songs as 1 take it easy (Deacon) 2 sound of love (Fred) 3 i'm game (are you?) (May/Taylor) 4 sound of money (Fred) 5 playing for keeps (May) 6 crossroads woman (May) 9 duck soup (May/taylor) 11 sun times sundays (Deacon) 13 where's the party? (Taylor) 14 mad men and wild women (unknown) 15 new world callin' (Indian lovesong) (May), when they were written, during sessions above what albums, tell ??..... |

The_CrY 04.04.2010 15:40 |
Wait a minute... there are more than 15 unreleased songs available to the public? How do these things happen? How can we get those unreleased songs that are released somehow? |
armando 23.09.2010 11:42 |
does anybody know about the track Assassin? |
Jam Monkey 23.09.2010 15:53 |
Well there have been alot of rummours about Assassin over the years, and a few fake demos have circulated, but to the best of my knowledge there is no firm evidence that it exsists, and even if it does it is probably not a complete track. |
Thistle 24.09.2010 13:56 |
Fuck it, I only just saw this thread and had a lot of great answers to the original post, but they've all been said already. Damn, too slow lol Btw, "The profit's Song", I nearly fuckin choked it was so funny. Top 15 (seriously, and in my opinion) unreleased songs (imagining some were complete, based on their potential): 1 - New York, New York 2 - Hangman 3 - Polar Bear (Freddie Vocals) 4 - Keep Yourself Alive ("Long Lost Re-take") 5 - I Guess We're Falling Out 6 - You Are The Only One 7 - Face It Alone 8 - Sandbox 9 - Self Made Man 10 - Let Me Live (With Rod Stewart) 11 - Play The Game (With Andy Gibb) 12 - White Queen (BBC Session 4) 13 - Nevermore (BBC Session 4) 14 - Spread Your Wings (BBC Session 6) 15 - Cool Cat (With Bowie) The reason the Stewart and Gibb tracks are so far down the list is because of pure curiosity, although I feel the ones that were officially released would be the best versions, and the reason the BBC session ones are further down is because they are some of the greatest unreleased tracks, but we have heard them in their purest form. Everything above those (or the idea of them, at least) really excites me. I know that some of those are based on speculation, but would I would also love to hear Assassin. Victory would have been on the list if it was definitely a Queen track, I think it's a Mercury/ Jackson only collaboration.... |

The Flash Danny Project wrote: Why 15? Why not 14? Or 16? ++++++++++++++++++++ Exactly. I've always sort of wondered why lists have to be in increments of 5, like Top 5 Movies and Top 10 Songs, 25 Greatest Whatevers of the 20th Century... I recommend the various editions of The Book Of Lists, which has some fascinating and curious lists from throughout history, some are hilarious, some are like Things To Do To Survive A Bear Attack...and the lists vary in quantity of entries, like Cracked.com. As for 15 Unreleased Queen songs, are there that many? Counting through what I have (or know exists), excluding versions released, in no particular order: 01) Silver Salmon 02) Polar Bear 03) Feelings 04) Feeling Feelings 05) Feel Like 06) You're the Only One 07) Hangman 08) Sandbox 09) Let Me In (Your Heart Again) 10) I Guess We're Falling Out 11) Dog With A Bone 12) My Secret Fantasy 13) Robbery 14) Face It Alone 15) Self-Made Man Hmm, I guess they do have that many. Maybe I'll make a CD for the car (though I don't have any version of tracks 08, 09 or 14), subbing a live version of "Take Love" in there, along with some other stuff. |

I am really hoping that the rumored Queen version of Love Making Love from the AKOM sessions surfaces someday. For me, that track was a highlight of the Freddie Box Set. Wonderful track. |

Wonderful track. ++++++++++++++++++++ When did this rumored Queen version of LML come to light? I've never heard of them working on that song. |
Shane Jazz 29.09.2010 23:25 |
It's been a while since I looked at the wonderful book that accompanied the Freddie Box Set, but I believe it said that Queen revisited Love Makin Love during the AKOM sessions. I truly hope so!!! |
rhyeking 03.10.2010 20:28 |
Here's what the FM boxed set said: "Although written during the Mr. Bad Guy sessions, Freddie abandoned "Love Makin' Love" only to return to it during sessions for Queen's A Kind Of Magic album. The track was re-worked, but again disgarded, destined to never feature on any album." That actually, as written, means Freddie revisited LML, not nessecarily Queen. The AKOM sessions were from September of 1985 through to February of 1986. Freddie was also working on his solo material at the same time, including the tracks from Time: The Musical, so it makes sense that he'd come back to this track. I do acknowledge the possibility that Queen worked on it, but the FM box write up is not 100% clear. |

necro list is missing the "officially" unreleased - although widely available as an audience recording: "Property Of Queen Productions" |

I recall reading an archive review of A Night At the Opera when the reviewer was snidely referring to to the Profits Song. It’s an oldie but a goodie. |
