Hi Queenzoners,
I sincerely hope there's anybody who can help me out with this:A while ago, I stumbled across the 12"-single of said song ('New Dark Ages', The Cross 1991). It's in absolutely perfect condition, both record and sleeve - BUT: the cover-design of my copy, for some reason, completely misses out the child's face...!?
I tried various Queen-Collector's sites, but didn't seem to get any information about that record at all...
So folks - what is it that I have purchased then??An massively ultra-rare misprint worth a fortune or just plain bootleg junk???
Thanks in advance!
Wasn't there a test pressing of some sort that had this 'child-less' design? I mean, one that was UBER-RARE but then lots of pirate issues appeared and it's a bit tricky to tell if the one you have is real or fake. (Most likely fake, though).
Or are we 100% sure that ALL the child-less covers are fake/pirate?
I had the wonderful idea to buy it through a website link and looks fine, buy i think that it's not original. It doesn't have any barcode & the vinyl is rather thick more than usual. Same thing no child on the cover. Good thing I have paid much.
