Hello my friends!
It is so good to see so many people nowadays still appreciating the great music of Queen, the best ever British rock band.
It has been over 18 years since the death of Freddie Mercury and his talents with music continue to astound and truly kick the ass of any new garbage of today, like N-Dubz.
Queen were, and will always be, the best rock band of all time. Without a doubt.

P.S. I'm sorry I can't make a longer, more detailed intro at the moment as I'm submitting these posts off my PSP which does not allow great amounts of text to be transferred.
But fear not - I'm on my PC a LOT so I'll visit often. I look forward to associating with fellow Queen lovers and talking about how much they rock.
All modern music is crAp. Seriously, none of these talentless garbage rappers or idiots like Rihanna are worthy to lick the ground Queen stand on.

Its so wonderful to finally have someone on here that knows something about music.
When you use "crap" and "garbage" you really place yourself in high regards as a music critic. It paints quite a visual. It makes me wanna go out and buy the new N-dubz.... whatever that is. Looking forward to your next review.
Thanks for the welcomes, Queen fans! It pleases me to know nobody's heard of N-Dubz here. But of course, this is a Queen forum! No room for shitty RAP for teenage wannabe gangsters! We know what decent music is! The kids these days are mostly IDIOTS! Who on earth invented "gangsta rap"? They should be shot for sins against music! Music will never be what it was again!
Still on PSP, by the way...

LOL!!! I agree, though I am a 13yr old teenager and all my friends think my music is crap. Talk about their own music!! And, welcome to Queen Zone!! I appreciate, and I'm sure so does everyone else, appreciate the fact that you obviously know quite a bit about how music should be! Welcome, and take all the stupid comments with a grain of salt, especially if people try to get at you because of your taste in Queen songs!!
Hello! I'm on the PC now so I'll be able to do a slightly longer post this time.
Well, I guess there are a few of us in this day and age who can resist the ever-so tempting cult of the latest hits in the charts and stick by our classic tunes of old, tunes made by people who cared about their output and didn't just throw together some random toss to keep their fans satisfied before going out and getting drunk or punched and ending up with their story all over the Sun!
No, there was a time before all this celebrity gossip crap when music was good and talent was the most important thing, not just money. 30 years ago, there were always new areas of music to be tested and established. Punk, electronica, New Wave, heavy metal - it was all groundbreaking and riveting back then and everybody loved it. Now it's been done to death so people just resort to making pop that all sounds the same and which really is going to be mostly forgotten about in a few years.
The introduction and popularisation of rap and hip hop finished great music for me. Rap is utter garbage - hateful, crime-ridden poetry set to a meagre bass beat and women being referred to as nothing but "hos". It destroyed all respect I had for music. Is it just me or does every rap song have to involve crime, drugs or general violence to some extent? Music was ruined by people like Eminem and 50 Cent who are always competing to fit as many explicit words into their songs as possible.
Queen, on the other hand, are an example of music at their best. Aside from just rock, they expanded their output across many different genres - metal, pop, prog rock, opera, piano/classical, gospel (Somebody to Love) - their songs made for a huge variety of music and showed their true versatility and originality in all areas. As with all bands, Queen had their best and their worst songs but they had great passion for their music (as can be seen in their live performances and videos) and perhaps the best frontman ever to exist - Freddie Mercury. They practically owned rock. No, they practically owned music altogether. No band today will quite equal them and that is because bands today just stick to the same predictable output people expect of them. Nobody wants to break barriers anymore and be different. Queen did. Queen represent a long-gone, brilliant era of music which paved the way and provided inspiration for many bands (Metallica are an example of a band who cited Queen as an inspiration for them) and who used talent and courage to earn their acclaim, unlike today's crappy artists (like that Chipmunk rapper) who become famous by aiming for the lowest common denominator and focusing all their work on giving them a laugh, if nothing else - by which I mean the idiots we have as our youth today. The charts today are just based on the same old crap teenagers are expected to like which is just basically "sexy" people performing and for that I hate them. Screw the charts.
