RIGHT THE FUCK ON. I feel bad enough about having a Facebook but when Twitter appeared that's when I drew a line. I have never given anyone a hard time for using it but me, personally - it will never happen. Unless I am paid off in some way. You have it in writing. |

Oh come on guys, twitter isn't THAT bad. Not that it's great either, but it IS addictive, and that's what gets you the members. |

It's not much of an issue of Twitter sucking, but what sucks the most are the great amount of useless crap most people use to tweet. |

For me it's the shamelessness with which people use it when they're trying to plug something. I'm sick of seeing "Follow me on Twitter" every fucking which way I turn. Sorry Mr. Budding Musician, I watched your damn video because I was moderately interested in your craft, not because I wanted to get acquainted with the minutiae of your daily existence, or because I'd like to help you boost your damned numbers! I will say this though; it rocks when people use Twitter (or any other site) to impersonate Brian May. God, could there be a funnier target? "Heeey you guys, stop pretending to be meeeee". It's just like that episode of Frasier where he spots the poster of himself, and someone's turned him into a pirate with a thick black texta, and he goes "AFTER I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THEM ON THE AIR NOT TO DO THAT". Man, that's total Brian right there. Makes me want to start impersonating him actually. |

I intensely disliked all those 'networking' sites like Facebook and MySpace from the moment they started coming up with them, and I dislike Twitter now (I prefer real news). I deal with them all in the same way, and can highly recommend the policy: ignore them. I've had friends send streams of invites for all things imaginable; ignore those long enough, and they stop sending them. |

Screw twitter!!! [fondling poor twitter's ears] Why are you saying such nasty things about twitter? Twitter is just...twitter. TWITTER IS WHAT PEOPLE MAKE OF IT! You're responsible for making twitter a better place! [singing a u2 song and weaving the Amnesty International flag] |

You're responsible for making twitter a better place! [singing a u2 song and weaving the Amnesty International flag] "I scarcely know the Bishop; I've only spoken to him once" exclaimed J.P. Huddle, with the exculpiating air of one who realizes too late the indiscretion of speaking to strange Bishops. Miss Huddle was the first to rally; she disliked thunderbolts as fervently as her brother did, but the womanly instinct in her told her that thunderbolts must be fed. ;-) |

Well if it wasn't for Twitter, i wouldn't have seen Ed Kowalczyk in concert + meet him. LONG LIVE TWITTAH! <3 |

I was on twitter for like a week. It got so damn boring, people I didn't even know were adding me. It was all so dull. |

Twitter and facebook remind me of one thing: Everyone I've ever met is an unfunny, uninteresting idiot. |

Twitter doesn't suck. I find Twitter incredibly useful. As a regular theatre go-er I follow a lot of performers and they often write when they are going to be off/understudying a bigger role and I find this useful. |

I tweeted, twatted, twittered(xD) on an rehearsal video with something like: sounds great, shame i can't come n see u, cuz couldn't get tix. he replied that i could have his ticket (lol) cuz he didn't need it! xD So i gave him his my mail and his manager mailed me the details and gave me his phonenumber...so i got a free ticket and a backstage pass. Shame tho that Ed got kicked out of the band not too long ago. :( But i BET they will do a reunion gig in 5 years so they can cash-in. :D OT: I think Twitter is a great medium IF relevant news is shared. Some people just go too far with sharing their every fart n stuff like that. If you can help people with your information then why not? |
