There is a new video with audio of Freddie's Boh Rhap performance with the Royal Ballet posted on Youtube .
The comments say "Audio mix between studio version of Bohemian Rhapsody and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra concert."
To me it sounds like a live recording of Freddie's voice was used and mixed with the RPO-instrumental.
So somebody made a reconstruction, it's not the original recording. That's a pity.
Does anybody know if Freddie sang sing live at that event or lip-sinc?
And if he playbacked, was there a new recording of is vocals or was an edited version of the 'original Queen vocal recording' from 1975 used?
About CLTCL. It looks like Freddie sang only one line from this song. Does anyone know which?
The video you link as first is done by "Snowproducciones" . He used one of the orchestrial covers (I'm not sure which one) together with the Bohemian Rhapsody multitracks. Unfortunately the orchestra plays the song in a different speed than Queen did, so without correcting the speed it sounds very strange.
There was a thread here where it was discussed if it was played live or not. If I remember correctly, the orchestra played live together with Freddie for Bohemian Rhapsody, and CLTCL was mimed. Or is it wrong ?
