Queen's recent compilation Absolute Greatest (containing hits Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You and Don't Stop Me Now) has charted #18.
The last Queen Compilation The A-Z of Queen Vol.1 did not chart anywhere within the major charts and Absolute Greatest is the first Queen Compilation since Greatest Hits II to chart in Australia.
Later on, Queen Fans will find out how the album has done in the UK and US on the first week of release.
Today in the UK ABSOLUTE GREATEST has entered the album charts at Number 3. It was the second highest new entry in the chart this week.
Leona Lewis is straight in at Number 1 and JLS are at number 2.
This is an amazing result for Queen. Still competing after all these years with what is hot and current in the charts at the present time, with songs that are twice the age of the two other artists at 1 and 2.
They are still as popular and relevent today as at any other time in there 40 year career.
Well done boys!
