Bonus streaming videos on Absolute Greatest ... interesting news
| Vali 11.11.2009 08:48 |
Rainbow '74, Earls Court 77, Paris 79, Japan 79, Hammersmith 79 and some well known ones (Wembley, Montreal, Budapest, Milton Keynes, Rio) link well, at least some of the jewels still not forgotten in QPL's minds .... |
| Hutchence 11.11.2009 09:35 |
Great stuff, finally... |
| pittrek 11.11.2009 12:59 |
This is the first "Absolute Greatest"-related news which makes me excited |

| guild93 12.11.2009 16:23 |
We can only hope we get Mustapha from Hammersmith 79 or a few multi-cam songs from Paris '79, Earls Court 2nd night, more of Wembley 1st night ...... otherwise it will be same old same old. |
| victor fleitas 12.11.2009 17:31 |
Getting The whole Medley of Live at the rainbow 74 on good video quality and GooD Stereo Audio Will Be a Dream Come True to me!! |
| brians wig 12.11.2009 18:50 |
Good quality? Hang on, we're talking streaming video here.... |
| KevoM 12.11.2009 19:12 |
But at what resolution? Bit pointless if it's in crappy 'You Tube' res of 320 x240! If it is then it's taking the term 'teaser' to the extreme! Kinda reminds of Jim Bowen on Bullseye when he showed losing contestants the star prize....'Come and see what you could of won'! |
| Hutchence 15.11.2009 17:39 |
1. white queen Rainbow 74 2.killer queen You take my breath away EC 77 3. millionaire waltz melancholy blues Houston 77 4. dreamers ball Paris 79 5. wwru/let me entartain Tokyo 79 6. love car/now im here Hammy 79 7. save me Montreal 81 8.somebody to love MKB 82 9. tie your mother down/love of my live Rio 85 10. one vision/in lap/champions Wembley 86 11. So we have Dreamers Ball in (hopefully) more than 1 camera angle to get excited over. Better than nothing (just). Luke |
| Mkls 17.11.2009 16:09 |
can anyone tell us something about the videos? Paris 79? EC77? |
| Bo Alex 20.11.2009 13:12 |
Is possible that the people who didn't buy the Vinyl can see these videos? Can anybody rip them and upload to YouTube or something? |
| tcc 24.11.2009 04:41 |
I found a difference between the Earl's Court Killer Queen video and the EC bootleg. In the video Freddie sings "perfume came naturally from Paris" but in the bootleg of the Earl Court (remaster) which I downloaded from here, Freddie sings "perfume came naturally from London". |

Because my video comes from the first night, this one comes from the second night :) |

Specify more please? I really wanna see those videos. Any of you top bootleggers feel like pulling this off? Thanks! - Kevin |
| john bodega 28.11.2009 03:28 |
There was a thread - unsurprisingly it got pulled before I got more than one video. And the one I got was Dreamers Ball and I don't even like that song. |

Thanks to an anonymous benefactor I've seen the rest and I can safely say - QPL, you fucks, START RELEASING 70's DVDs. This stuff is fine. You don't need long lost multitracks to get a cracking good DVD out. Do you want my money or not?? I'm a dumbass consumer and I am ready to throw down big bucks on a DVD if you are willing to release it. FUCK. |

I have bought the Absolute Greatest book version and inserted the 2nd CD to see the online components...and thoroughly enjoyed them. It seems a shame that they will only be online 'til February. Which got me thinking about archiving them - Now, if one were to (hypothetically, of course) rip the files from the site, one (hypothetically) would find these file sizes and names - 53,979,704 01-WHITEQUEEN.flv 22,806,066 02-KILLERQUEEN.flv 32,705,573 03-BREATHAWAY.flv 36,415,445 04-MILLIONWALTZ.flv 38,225,516 05-MELONBLUES.flv 40,044,957 06-DREAMERSBALL.flv 33,385,554 07-WWRYFAST.flv 31,599,305 08-LETMEENTERTAINYOU.flv 20,493,825 09-INLOVEWITHMYCAR.flv 68,024,048 10-NOWI'MHERE.flv 41,894,237 11-SAVEME.flv 76,984,241 14-SOMEBODYTOLOVE.flv 37,592,830 15-TIEYOURMOTHERDOWN.flv 48,534,749 16-LOVEOFMYLIFE.flv 41,600,107 17-ONEVISION.flv 24,436,072 18-LAPOFTHEGODS.flv 41,489,812 19-WEARETHECHAMPSWEMBLEY.flv 29,142,749 20-WWRYBUDAPEST.flv Which leads to an interesting question -- where are songs 12 and 13. I wonder if they are sitting on Push Entertainment's file server, but the build of the front end has missed them out? Anyone know anything about this? |

Presumably the earlier Rainbow as well if reports of overdubbing are correct. They've got the multitracks for Hyde Park as well I believe. And it just goes to show - they really WILL only release gigs they have multitracks for... they'd have never issued Hammermsith 75 with the fuck up at the end of Liar. |

If you use Firefox (and a PC for that matter), there is a component called DownloadHelper you can use that SHOULD be able to download the FLV files. Rarely have issues not being able to download something with that extension, or .mp4, .mp3 (if it's in a 'streaming' player) for that matter. Dunno if it works for IE, Opera, etc. but I haven't looked in to that much. |

My PC automatically played the videos with the RealPlayer software and I could downnload it with the RealPlayer software. It's like downloading the Youtube videos - nothing complicated about it. Just point the mouse to the right hand corner of the video and the Download Video box will float up for you to click it. |

Thanks - but I was rather pointing out the fact that on Pushmedia's server (who host the AG Bonus site) the file name convention has the 18 songs labelled 01-11, 14-20. With a notable gap where 12 and 13 should be. |

I really want to see those videos but they haven't realesed AG in Argentina yet. I'm not sure if they gonna realesed the edition with the book (including the access to the special videos) or just the standards versions of 1 or 2 CDs. If anybody know a way to see those videos, please tell me!! I know it's illegal but I can't buy the official thing! |

I thought to start with that it ay have been their superstitiousness with the no. 13 (remember no 'QUEEN13' in the catalogue numbers from the singles released for The Miracle?) but with video no. 14 missing too this can't be it. Having said that, it must have been Freddie who was the superstitious one, as once he died they had no problem actually calling a track 'Track 13' once he'd died! |
