I was looking around on the net to see where to buy AG here in the US. Walmart had no results. Hastings music store had no results and FYI music stores had no results. Best Buy has it for pre-sale. So does Queen only release their projects through Best Buy now? I know they did for Live In The Ukraine but thought maybe that was just because of low sales of the Cosmos Rocks. I personally like going to the store to buy an album rather than ordering it online and I think this would limit their fan base here in the states. Hopefully this won't happen when or if the release Hammy 75' on DVD.
I think the idea of exclusives is that the store in question will give the product prime placement in their stores. You're also right, I can't find any non-import pre-order listings for "AG" anywhere other than Best Buy. Another thing I noticed is that the book version doesn't seem to be included so you might have to buy the import anyway if that's the one you want.
There are 2 different CD versions listed on Best Buy's website. One is $11.99, and the other is $25.99. I would think for $26 you'd get the book edition. I'd be a bit much for just 2 CDs alone. We'll have to wait and see I suppose.

Yes, Best Buy's site doesn't exactly give any detailed info on the item priced at $25.99 so I suppose it still MIGHT be the book version. Somebody e-mail Brian and ask
Hell, I doubt Brian even knows. I'm sure he could give you the US release details of A Village Lost and Found, though. [/img]
Remember the good old days when a good album was coming out and going to the store on the day of release to pick it up. The stand alone version of AG is a waste of time. Yes, there are some new edits to songs or at least it looks like there is but the book version looks to be the best version. Just wish it was released in more stores other than Best Buy.
