catqueen 31.10.2009 10:49	Insane debauchery? :) I still have a cold and feel like i have been run over by a steam roller. :( He he, maybe i should dress up as swine flu, knock on doors and sneeze when ppl open them!
dragon-fly 31.10.2009 11:31	My notebook did collapse :( Two days without internet :( But the guy have fixed it :) I'm in the web again :) Here schools and universities are closed for 3 weeks- a quarantine.
Sergei. 31.10.2009 12:25	Huzzah! I am going "Trick or Treating" this year, if all works out, even though it's cold and raining where I am. Luckily, my costume involves a frock coat. :P I don't remember the last time I went out... It's been maybe three or four years, I know I didn't do it at all during middle school. I don't why my posts keep getting spaced like this. It's very annoying.
Matias Merçeauroix 31.10.2009 12:48	KV SHRED KV LIKE CRAZY AAAA
StoneColdClassicQueen 01.11.2009 00:20	Worst Halloween ever T_T I really don't feel so good right now. I'm in the most terrible mood and I just want to punch stuff! I hate this night...
StoneColdClassicQueen 01.11.2009 00:23	Oh yeah, yesterday I went to school dressed as a cowgirl with a brown hat and jacket... These guys from my class were obviously making fun of me when they said if I was Chuck Norris or Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain... And some girl said if I was Indiana Jones. -_-
StoneColdClassicQueen 01.11.2009 00:24	EDIT sorry, double post! but i still feel like shit right now
john bodega 01.11.2009 03:18	You should've told them to fuck themselves!
JoxerTheDeityPirate 01.11.2009 04:17	20 so,did anyone else have the misfortune of seeing the twins [Jedward] absolutely massacre WWRY on X-Factor last night?
JoxerTheDeityPirate 01.11.2009 09:59	so,i managed to not get run over by the Eiffel Tower or a Roman Chariot outside my house as they went pass my front door.. i bet you didnt think you'd read that today did you?
Freya is quietly judging you. 01.11.2009 10:20	Oh I feel ill :( I only just got back from Halloween and I am still fully vampired up. Well. My make up is halfway down my face. Urgh. Need sleep.
Lady Nyx 01.11.2009 12:45	my week is gonna suck. i have so much to catch up on. and my halloween costume was cool, but it turned out long. and i ended up being "miss protector" over my best friend, yet again. i hate doing that. but i couldnt just sit back and allow it. i HATE it when she does this. i understand she wants to have fun since her break up, but i dont think shes aware of what stupidness she could get herself into. i know its her life, but she means the world to me, and i dont want anything bad to happen to her.

catqueen 03.11.2009 14:05	Why is it that faffing around on the internet is so apealing when the heavy threat of assignments due in a very short time is hanging overhead? Why, when I set time aside for my assignment, do i then ring my friend? Why does youtube exist? Why am I on facebook, etc? Why am i contemplating randomly making a myspace page instead of writing it (I, who know about 3 people with myspace pages, and am in contact with 2 of those 3 in another networking thing anyway)? What is the meaning of life? Dooooooommmmmmmm Doooooooooooooommmmmm Dooooooooooooooommmmmmmm

I've broken it up into sections and my lousy attention span = me usually sticking the wrong sections together. Never mind the fact I'm only playing it at half speed for now. I should tell me friend to fuck himself.

I sure do have a lot of homework these days..... ugh junior year of high school!!! I bet the teachers conspire to have projects all at the same time! My jerk of an ex boyfriend FINALLY apologized to me after 5 months of not speaking to each other. He really hurt me in ways that viciously damaged my self esteem. The funniest part he said: Sorry for acting like a jerk. It was so abrupt! XD That was the strangest apology I've ever received but it's certainly one that I desperately needed in order to get some closure and move on. He's not someone to go into depth, but that'll do. At least he meant it. Apparently he wanted to make peace with me and become friends again. I'm glad he matured and realized how not to treat a person. :) I'm at peace and my counselor was happy for me! Lady Nyx 23.11.2009 02:02	my cats have fleas :( how do i safely get rid of them without bombing my house? i know i have to give them a bath (not looking forward to it) but is there a home remedy to take care of all this?
john bodega 23.11.2009 03:01	My cats had fleas. They seem to be doing okay after the treatment my sister gave them, but now me and my carpet have fleas instead. Flea bombing shouldn't be necessary but if you have any carpets it'd be a good idea to get some kinda flea spray and do them over. And lots of vacuuming too. I dunno what flea treatments exist in your land so I wouldn't know what to recommend. The stuff we got from the vet was basically one dose a month (or a fortnight maybe) and frankly took way too long for me to be pleased with it.
dragon-fly 23.11.2009 09:58	My cat is wearing a special necklace (it helps against fleas). I think it works good. As far as I know, there's such thing as drops, which you put on the neck. Or even spray (I think it's a bad idea). Those also help against ticks. But I don't know how it is in your country so... your way is to the veterinary pharmacy. BTW, fleas can't live on the carpet or human. You see, they don't like us :) It's not a big problem, but the cleaning would be only a plus.
john bodega 23.11.2009 10:37	They don't like us? First I've heard!!! :P There's quite a colony in my carpet at the moment and they seem to loooooove me.
dragon-fly 23.11.2009 10:50	No, they don't :) Do you think it's unfair? He, he... You say a colony.... are you sure it's not lice? 'Cos they do like us.....
john bodega 23.11.2009 11:37	I know a flea when I see one, and coincidentally flea bites too! With respect, I know that fleas don't prefer humans but there's not much point telling me they aren't interested at all when I find them on me regularly. Hahah.
dragon-fly 23.11.2009 11:51	Oh, well, good luck with your company then.... Did you consider a special necklace? * * -joke, not serious
john bodega 23.11.2009 12:15	HA don't think I won't consider it :P

catqueen 24.11.2009 14:10	As far as i know, fleas can live in soft furniture and carpets. I once heard taht for every flea you find on your cat, there are about 200 in your furniture and house, but that number seems a bit high! My cats get preventative stuff on their necks (great fun to apply - not!), and if they pick any up we treat them for them. Good luck getting rid of them Lady Nyx and Zebonka, they can be persistant little things. RIP Freddie.
john bodega 25.11.2009 11:54	2012 is tedious. I'm watching it with my folks at the moment, nothing but Cusack and Co. trying to coax their little vehicle (be it a car or a plane) out of successively bigger CG shitstorms. Very, very boring. YOU WERE FANTASTIC LIVE!!! :D \m/ So much happened.. I don't even know where to BEGIN. Everybody knows Alice Cooper puts on a Gothic Horror theatrical show. And he did just that. Absolutely fan fuckin tastic, I must say!!!!!! :D :D :D THE AMOUNT OF TIMES ALICE DIED ON STAGE.. IT WAS SO FUNNY. I WAS LIKE "WOAAAAAAAH" ALL THE TIME. XDDDD THEY HANGED POOR MR COOPER ON STAGE. :( hahahaha. :D it was amazing. :P AND THEN THEY BE-HEADED HIM. :(.. BUT ALICE COOPER IS IMMORTAL. SO HE REVIVED AGAIN AND SANG MORE!!! WHEN THEY PLAYED THEIR SONG "BILLION DOLLAR BABIES" ALICE CAME OUT WITH A SWORD FULL OF DOLLARS PILED UP ON THE SWORD. AND HE RIPPED THE DOLLARS OFF AND SPRINKLED IT ALL OVER THE AUDIENCE!!! THEN HE GOT OUT PEARL BEAD NECKLACES. HUNDREDS OF THEM. AND THREW THEM ALL TO THE AUDIENCE!!!! That's nothing compared to what else he did.... I'd be here practically all night listing everything. :D

catqueen 07.12.2009 18:35	Great. I have managed to completely and utterly humiliate myself. Why did i do that? Why? Why? One of those awful situations when with the best intentions in the world, one does the COMPLETE wrong thing. And why does it only ever happen at times when one REALLY could do without it. I rarely make this complete a fool of myself, i guess i should be thankful for that. But oh crap its embarrassing. Embarrassing on the level that it will be years before anyone hears about it and even then i doubt if i will talk about it. Plus i have the knowledge that a dear friend thinks it is hilarious - and i am well aware of laughing with/ laughing at, and this is definately laughing at. Whihc means - yay - other people will find out. On one hand its not a big deal, most of my brain is saying 'big deal, get over it' but the other part, the tiny but loud part, is saying 'it IS a big deal! You are a useless failure!' :( Maybe once i talk to the person again it will be ok. I hope so. But there seems to be a possibility htat they are now avoiding me... I'm really hoping its a coincidence that i didnt see them. But it was one of those things where, even if nobody else finds out, it was a tough blow to my confidence, which was already wobbly after a tough few weeks. And now i have another day in which to dread seeing the person again, wish i was telepathic. Or even empathic. That would help so much. Then i would know whether i should laugh, apologise or get angry and would know what angle to take. When will i get my head together? All through my teens i thought i'd hav it together in my 20s, now i am in mid20s and still not together. Ok, sob session over. i really should not post this... you really dont need to hear my sorry little story, but thanks for listening. :) Oh well, my exam is in less then two weeks and that should take my mind off it, cos i only started to study on saturday!

catqueen 13.12.2009 12:36	I had the best night out ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! I so badly needed to get out of the house, after two days off work to study, cooped up in my room like a little hermit, it was great. I hurt all over now though and my feet are covered in blisters from dancing all night in rediculous shoes, but it was the best ever! And i wasn't even drinking! Great band, great dj, great friends, great food. It was just brilliant. I can't dance... I seriously CANNOT dance to save my life and have rarely attempted it, but i had to work a lot of stress out of my system so i ended up on the floor for pretty much all night, I was so glad cos usually i feel really stupid if i try to dance. I am fairly sure when i see pics and worse still, vids of the night i'll die of embarrassment, but i actually don't care. It was fantastic and very badly needed, its been far too long since got out. (fundraising nights for my own workplace do not count as 'out') Bad thing was i had to get up and go somewhere and be civilised after only about 4 hours sleep, and my ears only stopped buzzing sometime after lunch, and i will be sore for a few days.... maybe next time i will practice wearing killer heals for a while before going out in them!

I feel so like going to the beach on the weekend and shouting at the sea: "Screw you, 2009". Not because 2009 was a bad year. In fact it was not, it was a great year in many respects. So I have this ambivalent attitude towards 2009...I feel like hugging 2009 and saying "2009, I it's been great to hang around with you, but now there are different things in store for me...", and at the same time saying: "Screw, 2009". So I have this ambivalent attitude towards 2009...I feel like hugging 2009 and saying "2009, I it's been great to hang around with you, but now there are different things in store for me...", and at the same time saying: "Screw, 2009". And 2009 is absolutely not to blame, if you think about it. [hugging 2009] ; -)) (I'm not on drugs. I'm my normal self) Thats probabyl the best way i feel about this year as well, yara! well said! This year has been good, and certainly eventful. but it has been nothing but stress from the beginning. I just cant wait to start next year! FREEDOM!

OH YEAH!!!!!!!! Yay, Yara, I'm glad for you. And i share your relief at the end of 2009 also... wasn't bad year, but a lot of stress and hassle. I don't know if next year will be that much better, but some stuff will be i hope! College will still be there, but hopefully without the vast amt of administrative problems that my class had to battle all year... I'm settled in my job a while now... I really hope those aren't famous last words!

Angeline 28.12.2009 15:51	Has anyone ever heard 'A Case of You' by Joni Mitchell? I love it so much. On-going argument with my friend as to whether the lyric 'I could drink a case of you and still be on my feet' is a compliment or a subtle insult. I think the latter - even a whole case of wine (as a metaphor for him) doesn't have her drunk; it's not working like it should. I love how she's referring to wine, but 'a case of you' also sounds like a bad flu which fits with the troubled nature of the song. God she's so fecking clever. Her intonation and stressing and timing gives so much meaning to her lyrics. Like in 'Little Green' she repeats the line 'sometimes there'll be sorrow' throughout the song but in the last line she holds the final syllable of 'sorrow' for about 20 secs - because she is always sorrowful at having to give up her child. Phew...rant over. Joni, you are amazing!

Phew...rant over. Joni, you are amazing! Love, love, love that song. KD Lang did a beautiful cover as well on the lovely album 'Hymns of the 49th Parallel'. I side with your friend that that lyric is not a negative sentiment - it seems to me to be an expression of strength and surrender all at once, of an almost involuntary connection with someone who you know intimately but can't quite solve. It's an utterly brilliant line, and like all brilliant lines lends itself to mulitple interpretations. Like Freddie said, 'if you see it, it's there'. Some trivia: I was on a dating site once - I think it was plentyoffish - and the administrators had put together a list of the dumbest/weirdest taglines people put on their profiles for members enjoyment. 'I could drink a case of you and still be on my feet' was listed in the top 10. They clearly had never heard the song and had no sense of where the sentiment came from. I wrote them to explain, but don't know if they ever did anything about it because online dating is generally a horror show and I fled shortly after that.

Being that I'm a total email packrat, I was actually able to locate my February 6, 2008 (lame!) message to jtracy@onlinedatingmagazine.com. I said: Just saw this buried in your Strangest Header lists... "I could drink a case of you... and still I'd be on my feet." Just thought your staff might be interested to know that that is actually a lyric from a great Joni Mitchell song. So not so strange perhaps...perhaps a beacon of sorts to fellow music lovers... Anyway, as I said, just thought you might be interested. Thanks for a great site. :) I lied. It really wasn't a great site. Here is the list I complained about... http://www.onlinedatingmagazine.com/top10/strangeprofileheaders5.html
catqueen 30.12.2009 09:18	Greatful fan, i love the list! :) Choo choo! Lmao! Zebonka and Angeline, best of luck in the interviews! Hope both go really really well, and that the work will be enjoyable/endurable.

'Cause next year MUST be different; BETTER- not such a disaster like this one. Are you coming over here? You never asked me about the books- I remember my promise. Or not. Bumped into this video while checking out the Brixton stuff. Vintage Brian May & Paul Rodgers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7JOu3u4MlA

Honestly one of the best outdoor experiences one can have. Anyway, hope you folks all survive. :) it normally snows one day a year here in Cornwall so the local county council doesnt usually bother with simple, obvious things like storing grit/salt for the roads for when we do get sub-arctic conditions so only the major roads like the A30 got gritted, the rest of us in the back of the back of beyond are stuck here with frozen pavements and black iced snowed off roads unable to get anywhere because only 20% of ALL the roads in Cornwall were gritted. all public transport was stopped here yesterday and supplies are limited to what was already in our cupboards or what was already delivered to the shop because the delivery lorries cant get down into the village. thankfully i filled the freezer and cupboards up with food at the beginning of the week, however,my main concern is how much electricity i have left before i run out of heat and have to do my best Captain Oakes/Captain Scott impersonation and brave the conditions and head out into the freezing conditions for a 'top up' on my electricity key :-p im not enjoying this weather at all :-[ a beach in Goa is looking very much on the cards next winter!

Lady Nyx 31.01.2010 23:43	glad you had fun, catqueen! 2 of my far-away friends deleted their facebooks today!!!! whats happening? :( will facebook die like myspace did? i caught a clip of lady gaga's grammy performance. i was honestly embarassed for her...it looked like a crappy last minute effort, and bad acting. then she came out with elton john, and it was good again. but i think im saying that more for elton, because we all know gaga just wants to be him :-p i like her, but i think im slowly getting bored with her. its like she tries too hard with her live performances, and it takes away from her actual talent. that has always irritated me with artists. if you have to hide behind performance and gimmicks, youre not that great. sometimes less is more. wonder if kanye will be a douche at this one.... argh. i just went thru a bunch of my old lyrics. i think i will have to do another 'filter' again and come up with some new good ones. i have some cool ideas, problem is i dont know where to find an orchester and a harpsichord....i like to sound authentic :-p

Yara 02.02.2010 08:21	I have to give a present to a friend. Do people still play soccer for real? Or is it all PlayStation? I'm thinking about giving the guy a nice soccer ball - and it's not cheap, I tell you - because he's such a fan...I thought about a soccer shirt as well, but that'd be kind of obvious, and he probably already has it. What do you think? Either that, or I'll have to go for cds or dvds, which is hard because I don't know much about his taste in music. I mean: you're a guy. You know that you're only going to get those boring gifts you don't want. What would you like to get for a change? I know he has the Playstation console. I could try giving him a game...in case he already has it, he can exchange it for another one in the store. But my taste for games is...I like the more girlish, cutie games. So what do you think? What games do you guys who have PS or something similar enjoy? Do you think the soccer ball is kinda lame? Ideas!!!

I think I'm going to gently, of course, kick the ball towards him and say: "Take your birthday present, let's see how fast you are...", or something like this. What do you think? I won't write anything, but I found a very nice birthday card - it tells a story through a series of small vignettes. It's Snoopy's birthday - he wakes up all happy thinking about the presents... - but no one seems to remember it: he goes past each and every character and no one pays attention to him. He starts to fake he's getting ill and all, only to find they're celebrating Woodstock's birthday! When it's already late at night, he approaches his house and everyone is there. Woodstock turns the little party hat on his head inside out and it reads: "Happy birthday, Snoopy". : -)))) Hehe. It's cute, the card. I liked it. I hope he likes it too! o: p

JoxerTheDeityPirate 05.02.2010 09:37	never EVER use City Link as a courier service.ive now been waiting 6 days for them to deliver a packet that should of been delivered the next day,so far they have delivered to the wrong address TWICE and now they havent delivered again even though i was guaranteed delivery today. they are without doubt the most useless bunch of prats this side of AOL! never moan about the Royal Mail whilst these idiots are in business!!
