Wow, didn't expect so much lack of respect from you guys...i know i shouldn't be surprised.
Eh, you laugh or you cry. I've mocked far more talented people, why should he get off?
If I don't have my family cracking jokes about me when I'm in the box, I'm coming back to haunt the bastards...

To be truthful, I never much liked Boyzone but it is still sad that he died. He was a real dark horse on the death derby.
Anyway, back to going about my normal daily business
hey, sometimes one has to call a 'spade a spade' unless its Anton Du Beke, then we can call it a 'paki'
i cant help it,i was born without the tact gene and just call it as it is :-p
Very sad to hear of Stephen Gately's passing. A very talented and dedicated performer. At 33 he'd achieved much, but it seems to me he was still just a boy with all his dreams, all his life ahead of him. He had such an infectious charm,
it was impossible not to like him and warm to him. The last time I saw him he was full of enthusiasm for the parts in Bohemian Rhapsody he was performing in the new Boyzone show - they did a whole pageant based on Queen songs, with ALL the boys being Freddie at various moments! Stephen was anxious that we'd like what he was doing, which we did, and was keen to make us know he was doing it with love. He was so full of such joy in his work that you could not fail to be caught up in it with him. My deepest condolences to Andrew, and to Stephen's family, and - of course - to the Boys of BZ. These things are not fair.

I'm sort of embarrassed to admit that I have never heard of this band. Yikes I am old!
you're not old you just have a better taste in music than most women of your age..
my nuts have been ground to a pulp by UK women of a 'certain age' on facebook yesterday who used to swoon over these silly idiots in the mid 90's and not realising that they had no talent whatsoever..
Boyzone [or Gayzone] as us men called them, were the antithesis of every thing that was wrong with the UK music scene in 1994/95. it was bland and boring and full of crap boy bands who couldnt carry a tune in a bucket.
and the man mainly responsible for churning this bollox out week after week on the non-respecting public? Simon Cowell!
