I previously posted that I had almost enough cover versions to recreate the entire Sheer Heart Attack album.
Curious if I could do it with another Queen album, I see I can nearly complete New Of the World:
We Will Rock You - Warrant (actually, I have a whole whack of cover versions of WWRY, too many to note, but this is probably my favourite)
We Are The Champions - Dragon Attack Tribute album version
We Are The Champions - Gavin DeGraw (I'd probably use this version)
We Are The Champions - The Busters
Sheer Heart Attack - Dragon Attack Tribute album version
All Dead, All Dead - Fito Paez (a great Spanish version, from a Spanish tribute album)
Spread Your Wings - Blind Guardian
Fight From The Inside - Stone Cold Queen Tribute album version
Get Down, Make Love - Nine Inch Nails (obviously I'd use this one)
Get Down, Make Love - Dragon Attack Tribute album version
Sleeping On The Sidewalk - Los Lobos
It's Late - Anthrax (this is version I'd use)
It's Late - Dragon Attack Tribute album version
My Melancholy Blues - Elaine Paige
Leaving ONE song...
Who Needs You
The Queenipedia Cover Page doesn't have a listing.
Who Needs You: a completely unrecognisable version has been done by Sinking Body. It can be found on the 2002 compilation album Dynamite With A Lasebeam As Heard Through The Meat Grinder Of Three One G.
Carlos Bonell played a version on acoustic guitar on his album Queen Guitar Rhapsodies from 2008.
Reina Assesina, a Queen tribute band from Argentina, has a live version on their cd/dvd En Vivo En El Teatro ND Ateneo from 2005.
There are no other official releases, as far as I know
I'm not famous or any of that but I have done covers of 'Who Needs You' and 'All Dead All Dead'. Brianhas heard the latter one and actually sent me a mail saying how he liked it and that the guitar choir was spot-on!
