I realize this is a Queen site, but hey I can't help it. I rarely post topics so I'm going to splurge...
I finally got my tickets in the mail...I'm going to see him live September 26th. I've been a huge fan for years and now I finally get to see him in concert (after missing a golden opportunity last year). I can't even begin to describe how excited I am!
Have any of you seen him on this tour, or planning on it? Or anyone seen him recently, like last year? He seems to be in good shape for his age...I have high hopes.
Never seen him, but I've heard his shows are electric! Apparantly he always has a nap before going onstage, and he's meant to have so much energy and power, even still.
I couldn't resist. Hope the link works, for some reason I can't copy and paste links into messages anymore. there's a couple of these, including some songs (Welcome to My Nightmare and Schools Out, possibly more too), but I love this one. Esp the sight of Alice talking to Kermit and how jumpy Kermit is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTUYJ53XHeo&feature=related
I know you wanted to go see Alice Cooper for the longest time, and I remember you couldn't go to the show in Boston last year. It looks like you are driving all the way to CT, but knowing you I know you'd drive cross country to see Alice Cooper.
Anyways, I'm very happy for you.
Hope you have a blast.
I just need to say that show was GREAT! My seats weren't nearly as bad as I thought they were going to be. I had a perfect view, ground level....it was easier to see Alice's face looking straight at him than at the big screens....and the theater was very nice looking....Foxwoods was like a city of its own.
I have some pictures and surprisingly decent quality videos that I'll upload very soon if anyone's interested....I got a really good (but short) video of his encoure School's Out, amongst a few others. :)

Wow!!!!! I'm so jealous! And please do upload stuff from it! :)
Unfortunately, the pics (most of them) without flash came out blury....I have a few more pics/vids to add,but here's a link with some videos:http://s922.photobucket.com/albums/ad64/ColdEthyl/
at least you can see Alice hanging pretty well.
Wow, great! Thanks KillerQueen! Some day I'm GOING to an Alice concert! I like the way his concerts flow, although i've only seen one concert dvd. They flow perfectly - wild, mad, crazy, out-of-control, curbed by society, comes back, victimised, commits crime, loses mind, is committed, commits crime, is punished, comes back and it's resolved. It's brilliant! I don't like blood and guts, but his shows are done so well - its not just slash, kill, its thought out perfectly, and somehow, there is almost an element of humour in it. Like 'I like the dead' - he gets accused of necrophilia, but the song is so cool, there is a tongue in cheek element to it. And as he once said, Alice is a gentleman - he might slit your throat, but he'd never swear at you! :)
Apparantly, in real life, he drives a smart car and was on his kids parent teacher association. Which is a bit mind boggling!
