Queen in November are going to release ANOTHER compilation album with some extras. It is said to be their ultimate Greatest Hits album with 20 hits from their career from 1974 to 1995. However will this just be another compilation with no publicity or will Queen fans buy the album and make an apperance on the Charts, most likely UK Charts. I predict the Album can sell 500, 000 copies Worldwide and if there is publicity it could sell over a million copies worldwide. If it does turn out to be very big with sales of 5 million + this could boost Queen's total sales Worldwide. I wounder who will buy Absolute Greatest.
With some good promotion here in the UK this compilation had a really good chance to be Queen's 10th No1 Album, BUT the idiots at EMI have decided to release it the same week as Robbie Williams. Unbelievable really as both artist are on the same label (EMI).
So unfortunately Absolute Greatest will be totally overshadowed by Robbie as his promotion will be fantastic, I'd expect Queen to go Top 3 at best. If released the week before or week after Robbie I would have thought a No1.
