Should we lobby Google to have a Queen themed logo in a couple of years, on Freddie's 65th....?
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.
Yes! Yes we should! But I don't know how. If a petition or something is started, surely there's enough of us to influence it, esp if Brian and Queenonline would post links. That would be so cool!
If the topic is 'does he deserve one', then yes absolutely. They have custom logos for other folk all the time.
I'm not sure who one would message with the idea though?
On second thought, I totally forgot about their Michael Jackson one... I agree with Zebonka and think they SHOULD make a Freddie/Queen-themed logo but they probably won't unless someone in a high position is a Queen fan.

Freddie was deemed "unsuitable" for the cover of BBC Radio Times in April 1992, the month of the tribute concert, much to Mr May's annoyance.
All these years later Google would have the same opinion. Id love to be proven wrong though.
BTW
Radio times did make up for it by putting Fred on the cover in 2007 http://www.queenworld.com/artman/publish/printer_592.shtml
I think that Adam Lambert, being openly and unapologetically gay, has been Googled so many times that if it is the "gay entertainer" thing that made Freddie "unsuitable" in '92, then it hasn't the stigma that existed back then, and it shouldn't be a factor with Google.
