I was watching the the new episode of the HBO series 'Hung' and it finished with a cover of the song "Play The Game" which I'd not heard before. I checked and that version's not on the "Killer Queen" or "Crown Jewels" tribute albums. Did anyone else catch this?
Heart didn't flutter, but I did start singing along. Actually, it was perfectly used for the end of the episode (the original would have been better, but what can you do?). I watched the credits to see who did it, but they didn't say.
I live in the UK and "Hung" isn't transmitted over here but, like most of the TV shows I watch, it's one I download every week.
I have to say that as soon as I saw the show title, I wondered if it was about a guy who was well-hung (just shows what kind of mind I have and no, I'm not gay), and was really surprised to discover it was!
It's one hell of a show and I love it! :)
For those who don't know, "Hung" is a very amusing show about a high school teacher and coach who finds himself in debt after his divorce and almost burning down his house. He decides the only commodity he has to sell his apparently huge shlong (we're never shown it, which makes it even more funny) and he becomes a male prostitute to rich women on the side. I started watching it after I was assured it was not gay porn, haha.
It's almost embarrassing that the synopsis for this show matches something I wrote as a joke when I was 18. Well, except my character owed money to the mafia.
Anyway, good to hear Queen music being played. Who says the world doesn't appreciate them?
