Last week when I told you that Adam lambert was going to tour with queen next year and that eventually KISS was going to tour along with them you guys ignored me,attacked me and even called me crazy. I can't uncover my contacts, but today finally I get redeemed and the truth came out, Adam got high fives from Brian May in regards to his first song,in a couple on months,99.9% a day after that movie comes out and Adam goes to the premiere they will announce it and it's going to be official: Adam Lambert (the only one in my humble opinion that can fill Freddie's shoes in a 75%)will tour the USA and Europe with Queen, when they come to the USA then KISS will join them in a few cities,LA and New York and Philadelphia are for sure on the list. But this is not all, the word has it that the greatest Bass player ever mister John Deacon will play again. Hope you think before you accuse. Read this from Rolling Stone: Lambert’s “2012 ” Song Is “Truly Sensational,” Brian May Says 8/20/09, 8:44 am EST Photo: Eshelman/FilmMagic When Adam Lambert visited the Rolling Stone offices recently, the American Idol runner-up told us that he was working on a top-secret film soundtrack. Now, thanks to Queen guitarist Brian May’s blog, we know what movie will feature one of Lambert’s first post-Idol songs: The apocalyptic flick 2012. According to May, Lambert and American Idiot producer Rob Cavallo teamed up for the track, Towleroad reports. 2012 hits theaters November 13th, and Lambert’s debut album is also due out in November. See what surprises Adam Lambert has planned for his “sexy” November debut. “I have to say I was completely blown away … it’s truly sensational,” May wrote on his blog after hearing the 2012 track. “In fact it’s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding.” The compliments didn’t end there from May, whose former bandmate Freddie Mercury is one of Lambert’s avowed influences. “I’m not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists … but Adam’s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. It’s an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star,” May writes. Go behind the scenes of Lambert’s RS cover shoot in exclusive photos. Lambert previously impressed May when the Wild Idol performed with Queen during the Season Eight finale of American Idol. After the show, rumors began circulating that May would recruit Lambert to be Queen’s new vocalist after the exit of Paul Rodgers, but May was quick to snuff the rumors. “It’s not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn’t that easy. But I’d certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there,” May told Rolling Stone. “I’m confident Adam will make great use of this wonderful opportunity. I hope I’m there to see it.” Turns out, May was one of the first to hear it. |

This is NOT an attack, but how on earth does Brian saying the song is 'sensational' PROVE that Adam is to tour with Brian and Roger next year? It just proves that Brian really likes a song. Brian likes LOTS of songs but he doesn't go touring with lots of singers. |

Hello Queen on Ice, You are living in another planet? read my piece an read the Rolling Stone part. If you check my prior comment you'll see how I gave everybody here a hint about them together. I can't uncover my sources, they are powerful gentleman that today are here in LA and tomorrow they will fly to Greece if they want to. I know this guys because like I said before I grew up in the area, and my mom and stepdad worked and still work with them,is like one client uses my stepdad and then he refers him to somebody else, here in Bev. Hills/Brentwood,Bel Air/Pacific Palisades the producers and music related businessman are like a closed knit where they comment and lunch very often. Yes, they will tour next year, and yes KISS will join them too as well as John Deacon will tour Europe and the USA. Even Better,as of next month Adam will be in Great Britain for a whole weekend, and not on vacation but on a mission...........................start talks with Roger and Brian in regards to what to expect. You don't have to believe me,but at the end of American Idol backstage Roger hug Adam and told him: it's a deal, don't be wanking off me,and Adam very coyli told him that he was going to talk to Freddie? I told you so. |
erick mckay 21.08.2009 21:01 |
No, Paul Rodgers is out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! George Michael is out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John Deacon is IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Adam will tour next year,KISS will join them in the USA only. I heard yesterday when I was in Pacific Palisades with my stepdad that Adam requested to bring Allison Iraheta for a few shows and Queen said NO. ADAM had to choose between friendship and money, and he choose money. Here in west Hollywood the gay community adore Adam and in the next few days they will start emailing every queen gay fan in the world to support Adam for the tour. Also Adam will be the main attraction on halloween this year here in LA/west hollywood,he will give a short concert on the 31st. and guess what? He will sing somebody to love and don't stop me now. Yes, sir Adam is now the new Queen member. |
Queen On Ice 21.08.2009 22:16 |
To start with, I told you in the first place I was not attacking you. Secondly, I simply said that what you wrote is NOT - as you first claimed (and in the thread title) 'proof' of anything. Thirdly, where do YOU get off saying I am from another planet? That is uncalled for and you are a rude person. Fourthly, ANYONE can claim to have 'contacts' and friends in high places, and many do claim it - but MOST of those who do are saddos with not much in their lives and want to appear 'big. For all I know, you COULD be one of those. Fifthly, I still don't believe a single word YOU say. |
erick mckay 21.08.2009 23:02 |
Chill....................................come down, serena morena, tranquila Camila. I feel you are taking life too seriously,no I'm not a sad soul looking for stardom,or like you make it sound I'm not claiming I have contacts to show off neither. Look I can care less about your firstly secondly thirdly fourthly fifthly and so on till **one millionthly** LOL LOL LOL LOL. The truth of the matter is that you are like a polaroid picture: (no, not like outkast..................)you rapidly develop yourself without even asking if what you think is the general thinking of all the members. Don't be hostile,I just publish what I know and you live in a democratic country (hope you live here in the USA0 so you have the option and choice to bypass my message and not read it nor you have to answer. I never had the intention to agravate you,but you, without any merit to your beligerant behavior just swing by and start throwing punches. I believe in respecting any and all women, but being a woman does not give the right to shield yourself behind a nick name and pretend that you are being treated wrongly. I'm going to stop here because if I start using my hard earned law verbology you will get slammed and won't be able to (A)understand (B) achieve one educated ranking thought (C) defend yourself. Don't you realice this was just a comment? just a piece of info I was trying to pass to all Queen fans. Still I feel lots of respect for you and therefore I send you a hug. |
Queen On Ice 21.08.2009 23:37 |
You are not in tune with reality. I have not thrown any punches at you, but I could if I was so inclined. You talk of me 'chilling' yet you are the one who feels the need to write long and nonsensical posts. All I have said to you is that I do not believe you. Nothing more. If to you that means I am attacking you, then so be it. |

Erick, Good grief - I don't know what to make of you! [/img] I have been hoping for at least a performance with Adam Lambert and Queen, but what you are saying is really over the top, around the bend, or something. I'll certainly be watching to see what happens, which I would already be doing anyway. Quite a picture you paint! |

I mean I just published this without any intention to rough fetters. I wrote in here last week that Adam and Queen were going to tour together,I did not know back then about John Deacon. What happens is that yesterday I was as an employee/friend at this house where some of my friends/mom ex bosses/stepdad present bosses were having sort of a party and they commented this. Also Adam will be in west hollywood on halloween night at the gay carnival and will sing for KISS FM for like half an hour,he will sing somebody to love and don't stop me know. I don't want to name names because then they will be pissed at me. |

LOL" And why did you send that? Because I said I did not believe you? You have serious problems. I Will ask you one more time, publicly AGAIN, please do NOT pm me again. I am as entitled as anyone to offer an opinion or to ask a question to ANY poster - YOU included, but I do not do it out of malice or in an attempt to attck you, but you seem to take ANY words not in aggreement with you as a personal attack. I called you a troll because ONLY trolls send pms like the one I quoted above. After I called you a troll you sent me this pm: "Troll? how do you know? I know,it takes one to know one!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a shapeless GORDA!!!!!!" And then this (with NO reply from me): "Hola vieja loca" Now, I would like to know how that is NOT trolling? ANYONE can see that I have not been in any way out of order in the ways I have addressed you, but you react like I have killed your mother or something. Apparently you are 'Jake' so you do not fool me one bit. DO NOT PM ME AGAIN. |

Adam Lambert is a QUEEN, I hope he is not in QUEEN. I think (and would prefer it) that PR may return for some shows and with KISS that would be awesome (Gene has said this before). They are about to tour the US with the terrific BuckCherry supporting but a few outdoor festivals next year may be possible perhaps download? I don't think PR left in any animosity and I think yet another rent a singer like Lambert singing Queen songs just taints the Queen product. Rodgers is a great frontman and singer not a pop/karaoake type johnny come lately character. Forget about Deacy playing live with BM and RT, he's retired, never say ever but very unlikely. |
erick mckay 22.08.2009 15:23 |
Adam Lambert is not a queen, you don't have to be homophobic. He has more talent than all the American Idols together.Adam is a star in the process to become a mega star. If you are a homophobic then you are insulting Freddie's memory and the gay community. Have you noticed how many great superstars are gay? Paul Rodgers was a terrific singer from free to bad company, but touring with Queen? that to me was an insult to the millions of Queen fans. And even Adam won't dill Freddie's shoes but Adam is a new kid in town with superb skills and has to yet prove to himself and to evrybody how great he is, and if Queen BM and RT and JD choose him that means they see what everybody sees: A great showman. Yes John Deacon is already working with them, they got together in Switzerland. |

Rob Halford from Judas Priest is one of my other favourite singers and he's a poof too, don't be so PC!!!! Paul Rodgers was good replacement for Fred, he's toatally different and IS the only other frontman they should play with. How is that an insult? No more so than when Sammy Hagar replaced DLR in Van Halen. Adam Lambert is too young to front Queen anyway, its like the Robbie Williams/Pepsi/5ive thing, That's insulting to long time Queen fans, like this new greatest hits album. No PR to join forces and play some outdoor shows next summer watch this space, you big fag!!!! |
Angeline 22.08.2009 17:35 |
I really really do not want Adam Lambert to front 'Queen' (which, if it does happen will be purely incidental to Erick McKay's posts of which I believe not a word). Am I being narrow minded? I don't know it just doesn't feel right. Also if I were a 'super new talent' like Lambert I would want to make my own career, not trawl around doing what is, let's face it, glorified Karaoke. |
erick mckay 22.08.2009 20:25 |
You are narrow minded, but tell us who do you want to karaoke then? Clay Aiken,David Archuleta? Come on, nobody should tour with Queen,Queen should just retire and let ud the fans enjoy what they did.But if someone is right for right bow is Adam. |
Through the eons... 23.08.2009 01:37 |
Well, if this is true, once this kid starts singing with Queen, he'll make you believe that Freddie is back. I think this could be the best push to the limelight that the remaining members of Queen will ever have. Who cares whether May, Taylor, or Deacon are way older than Adam. It's the chemistry and the voice that will blow everyone's mind. This will be huge. |
Major Tom 23.08.2009 01:42 |
If this Adam Lambert is so good of a singer that Roger and Brian is willing to work with him, I have to trust their professional expertese. If they go on tour with him, makes no difference, I'm sure to go see them anyway. But if you can give me rock-solid proof that John's back...I'm on fucking fire. And please do understand that your word is worth fuck-all. I need it in print, from a reliable source. Maybe John can give me a call himself? |

Adam has often spoken of his desire to update classic rock so that it appeals to today's young people. I'm not sure if that is wonderful or scary. Depends on the end result, I guess. As he is also working on his own songs too, I'd sure rather see him influenced by Queen than many others out there. I think they would be a good fit. Ages be damned, though touring would be a lot more exhausting for Brian, Roger and John than for Adam, which could be a bummer. |

There was a time that I respected Brian and what he had to say about various artists; for example I agreed with him about how great Avril Lavigne was, and had to agree that the Foo Fighters were a great band (although not MY type of music), but the day he announced that Katy Perry was great and that Adam Lambert was also a great singer was the day i lost my respect for Brian and his ability to judge other artists musical prowess. I've heard Perry sing live and she's shite. I've heard Lambert sing and he's also shite (both live AND all those studio recordings that are on youtube). At least Britney Spears has the decency to mime her live concerts! |

I heard Katy Perry a while ago on the Today Show, and she was singing at one point without any backup, and she just sort of bleated, but I haven't heard enough of her to have a definite opinion. Adam, however, has a great voice with fluidity and range. Brian is not alone in his opinion of Adam's voice as I have seen it a number of times coming from people in the music business. In short, in my opinion, your opinion is spiteful. It may even be shitty. But you are entitled to it. |

I assumed that what was meant by the 'talks' between Brian and Adam Lambart and the talk of 'working together' etc was about Brian producing Lambart. I thought they probably didn't want to specifically say at the time what they were working on together in case it didn't work out. But since then hasn't Brian said that he'll be producing something Adam is doing? Or was I dreaming? I think the only reason the rumers started about the tour is because we're all looking for them to tour! It would make more sense that all the talks about working together referred to Brian producing him. He talked about working with and projects with Kerry Ellis before producing her too. But hey, who am I... I don't have bigshot EMI friends! :) But my uncle is a musician and he knows someone who auditioned for WWRY years ago and played with Brian and Roger and he said... :) |
cacatua 24.08.2009 10:37 |
Brian hasn't said anything about producing Adam's recordings, only about hearing a song Adam recorded for the movie 2012 at the same place where he (Brian) was producing a new album for Meat Loaf, who was seen with Adam a short time before that. The press were calling Adam the illegitimate offspring of Meat Loaf and Freddie Mercury, which Meat Loaf found entertaining. I have no idea if anything is going on there behind the scenes. If so, then everyone is being very tight-lipped about it. |

I don't know how you find the time to both dispense great medical advice and write horrible lyrics, all while maintaining your job for a "major newspaper in LA." Keep up the good work. Well in regards to the medical advise,my last name is Murray,Conrad and are you having problems falling asleep? I got some medicines that can help. Horrible lyrics? beauty is in the ye of the beholder. major newspaper? as long as i get published I don't mind if i get it on the penny saver. |
