It has been noted that the spoken passage between the fast and slow version of We Will Rock You is from the book Siddartha by Herman Hesse. I just read this book (a very good read) and it is nowhere in there. Does anyone know where it really comes from?
No, the topic starter is right. The spoken part does not come from Siddharta - it has nothing to do with the novel. I have no clue where the text comes from but it's 100% not from Siddharta.
In my view I think this is a classic example of something that belongs in a FAQ ...along with things like 'what is beeped out in the live killers version of Death on two Legs. '
No. I know all about all that, but I had never heard of the spoken passage before. There are many uses and descriptions for WWRY and he didnt say which version/use of it was which made me confused.
