Just wondering what you guys think of Singstar: Queen... I had to buy it (duh) but after giving it some more thought I began to wonder if I really want to trash the songs by singing it myself.. or even worse hear my friends trash it!? Maybe should stick to singing along with Freddie in my car (when his amazing voice drowns my average ability)
I bought it too and I've been driving myself nuts trying to reach "singstar" in Bohemian Rhapsody. I finally did (9172 points) and I think its a great game but I noticed that, especially in Innuendo, I want it all, Radio Gaga and Hammer to fall, the way the game says you should sing is different to what Freddie sings. It makes me wonder what it would get if I got a recording of just the vocals and played it through the Mic. Still, great for voice control holding the long notes in Somebody To Love.
Yeah I really love to sing and push my voice so thats why I bought it ...(even though Freddies range is impossible to reach)
I've also noticed that there are some differences from the original songs... Gonna check it out one more time, maybe there's an explanation... like notes you just cant hit or something:D
U think it's easier for a man or a woman to sing in the game? I'm a girl myself and I've been told that there is no such thing as a girl singing falsetto...
Yeah they do have most of the very popular Queen Songs and ones to Sing to however I'd like to see a song from Each album and some other songs were not chosen. Queen I, Queen II (Seven Seas of Rhye very big Hit) and Made in Heaven had no Songs in Singstar Queen. Well I'd have Keep Yourself Alive, Seven Seas of Rhye, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Save Me, Flash, Las Palabras de Amor, Friends Will Be Friends, The Invisible Man, Headlong, Heaven for Everyone, Let ME LIVE AND A WINTER'S TALE IN THERE.
Agree, there are a lot of queen songs that would fit better on sing star (purpose singing) from their earlier albums, but then again no-one but Queen fans would be interested in buying it. Doubt that Singstar producers care about putting together a nuanced game of Queens best (singer)songs... It's all about money, too sad.
I would really have loved to see Save me , Seven seas of Rhye, Love of My Life at the very least!
