AN EXTREMELY NICE CHAP (that's his user name here, not my description of him - tho I'm sure he is.... unless it's a girl being ironic) recently wrote.... "Respect for Greg! He's the only one who's not posting anonymous here." Yes. Well said. Very true. It's always been that way with me. Stop using using silly bogus names, you lot, and hiding behind these things lest the rest of us should find out who you really are. Have the courage of your convictions. Stand by what you say, and put your real name to the opinions, views and criticisms you make here. Why would anyone want to hide behind a bogus identity anyway???? I don't get it. I used to think it was something to do with being cowardly and lacking in the spinal backbone department. And I think I still do. If I can write everything I post with my real identity attached, and so too the cuddly love monkey Johnny Sebelius Stuart, why can't you lot??? NICE CHAP makes a good point. Who are you really, Nice Chap??? Are you a Kevin or stan? Debbie or Edith? I will buy you a shandy if you live near my local pub - Yew Tree, manuden. Enough of this 21st century cowardice already!!!! |

I used to have ridiculous nicknames like "The Invisible Man." But now I prefer using my real name with a face to go along with it. BTW, I'm the gentleman to the right of Jakob Dylan (lead singer/songwriter of The Wallflowers -- lucky me!) in the avatar. Oh, I do find it funny that there is no credible evidence to suggest you are even the real Greg Brooks. But I'll be the first to admit I don't check Queenzone 24/7 so I might have missed something these past few years. |
Sebastian 08.08.2009 22:33 |
So, your given name is 'Queen' and your surname is 'Archivist'? |
pittrek 09.08.2009 03:23 |
Does anybody know the real name of John S. Stuart ? [/img] |

i can't wait for the day that queen sack Greg...then he may end up working for a lesser band like them who had that e.p. out in 1985 called "expect no mercy"tracklist was kinda apt for Greg: 01 - Flex Your Heart 02 - Do You Know What You're Doing? 03 - Expect No Mercy 04 - In My Eyes (Minor Threat) 05 - Keep Your Mouth Shut 06 - You're Just A Jerk (reprise) by the way...the band were called ADMIT YOUR SHIT.... so in effect Greg would change his name to ADMIT YOUR SHIT ARCHIVIST |

Bwa ha ha!!!!!!! And, right on queue, here he is. Blowing his own trumpet once again and telling us all how wonderful he is. Co-inciding with the announcement of this joke release from QPL, GB jumps on to the forum to rpovoke a bit of interest in himself. Naff off back to where you were chap and leave us happy here in our own little world. You ain't required. |

This forum isn't a legal document. And my real name is readily available; the question is, who GIVES a toss what my real name is?? I've been posting here as Zebonka for 5 or so years now... that's how you guys know me. Christ Greg! You've scraped a hole in the bottom of the barrel here. |
Negative Creep 09.08.2009 06:40 |
When did you change your name to Queen Archivist? Taking it a bit too far there pal. And how many posts over how many years do you need to bring this tedious subject up? Welcome to the internet - apparently you're not sure how it works. As (I believe) Freddie once stated - if you don't like it, fuck off home! Instead of reading it every night, then occasionally having a posting frenzy claiming to have only read it the last 3 nights and bleating on aobut how you don't like it. LOL No one makes you come here - remember that. |
Darren1977 09.08.2009 07:15 |
Somebody posted on hear about a year or so ago and claimed that John S Stuart and Greg are one and the same person, now who's being anonymous!! |

QUEEN ARCHIVIST WROTE (in agreement of someone stating that GB is the only one posting anonymously) to : "Yes. Well said. Very true.Stop using using silly bogus names, you lot, and hiding behind these things lest the rest of us should find out who you really are" NOT true. I for one do not post anonymously. Many (including myself) post using names other than their real names, but this does not mean posting anonymously. My profile contains a link to a website that contains my real name, photos of me, and details of exactly where I will be on most Friday or Saturday nights. Hardly anonymous, and definitely not used to hide behind. I also do not use a "silly bogus name". - it is not bogus as it is not intended to deceive, but it simply a 'monicker'. Secondly it is not silly. It is my REAL initials followed by the instrument I play - an emminently sensibly made username, and a username I have used for years and years across many sites, and by which I am known on many forums. He also accused everyone of cowardice just because he didn't agree with them, simply for posting and standing by their thoughts. I would suggest that posting on topics and then not responding at all when presented with genuine questions in response is far more of a sign of cowardice. |

LOL ROTFL LMAO ROTLCOPTER hahahahahhahahaahahahahah gasp gasp :D Greg, I am not against you in any way, you can even research my other posts to you, if you care to do so. But I cannot agree with you right now. This is a very strange and even arrogant comment that you make on something that is up to each one. Let people use whatever nickname they want, this is not a police inquiry, for Freddie's sake :D BTW, this is Arnaldo Silveira, truly yours. I have to admit "Ogre-" is not YET a part of my official name. ;) Cheers, Ogre- |

Hi, I'm Marco Van Basten, the "9" isn't actually part of my name... it was my old shirt number for AC Milan. Sadly "Marco_Van_Basten_,_I_Played_With_The_Number_9_On_My_Team_Shirt_At_AC_Milan" never fit !!! |

Strangely enough, I had quite an interesting new topic too start, but I'm a bit too embarrased now to start it after your other QZ thread... I scored 218 goals during my football career... which is EXACTLY the same amount of Greatest Hits packages Queen will have released with there next GHs album. Fascinating. |

QueenPaulo wrote: hey... anyone have the problem to modify the profile????... my profile doesn't work here!!! Do you seriously want to reveal your real name on the internet just because someone thinks it is cowardly not to? Who gives a stuff what anyone else thinks of how you want to be known here? You should not take it to heart so much. This is not a 'real life' environment so no-one needs to know who you really are, it makes no difference. We choose 'nyms' because it allows us to be creative and also to express in just one 'word' something about us that we want to share - just in the same way Greg Brooks has his 'nym' as 'Queen archivist - so we know that that is what he does. Mine is my serial no. of my Burns BHM RS and 'ad' which as short for my first name - and if no-one can work out what it is short for then that is not my problem is it? Don't feel pressured into changing how you carry yourself just because some people want to put the cat amongst the pidgeons. |

Anonymous? I daresay most people here know who I am, at least the old guard does. Same goes for many fellow zoners. Agreed, I don't know all the new ones, but if you'd hang around here a bit more Greg, without feeling the need to start new topics of self-pity or self-aggrandizement, you might get to know the people here. |

As I mentioned in another thread. Can anyone think of an Archivist who has probably wet himself laughing by now? I know I can. Fair dues to you Greg, any flippant comment, on any obscure topic, and you've got them going. It's like a form of advanced Ventriloquism. |

With all due respect, I can name 10 people who have offered more to this site off the top of my head than Greg has. He's probably a decent enough guy, but he's a joke as a representative of QPL for his borderline idiotic posts here. Other than people who think Queen's collective shit idn't stink, he has'nt much respect on the board, and I say that with no animosity. He could be a valuable resource, but seems content to poke a stick at the peons, and always, always, always slinks away when called out or the going gets tough only to reappear months later without reason. Of course I'm not posting in my own name so that gives me no credibility. Unless of course I am the Queen Archivist and want to rally support for myself, in which case I am a n advance ventrilioquist. |
