Hello everyone !
I don't use the request forum that much, but thought I could use it for once.
The two shows in Cologne 1982 (06th and 07th May) have not been shared here, and it seems most of the versions circulating have problems, or clicks. I only have the first night, but lossy unfortunately. I was offered it twice and it was the same lossy stuff.
I know these are not the best quality recordings, but we have nothing from those two nights shared here at all.
Therefore, my question is : is anybody able to clean the trading pool and can share here the best version in existence of these shows here, something that has not all these clicks and so on ? I don't think this would do any harm to any trader :o)
Many thanks for reading my request. Many thanks in advance too to the gentle Queenzoner who will be kind enough to answer it.
I don't know if they are the best versions that exists, but both shows are shared in Rapidshare in Bookepots Mega Torrent for 1982. The last night misses GSTQ, but otherwise they are quite complete.
Hope this helps!

I got the two recordings from the hub. The spectrum obviously looks suspect and I think something was done on these recordings. I can't conclude they are lossy or lossless. But are we sure better versions exist?

Indeed, that is the question... I guess a better version most probably exist, myabe the masters are still in existence around somewhere, maybe someone knows the taper... Or maybe we'll wait some 10 more years before knowing than Dan Lampinski in fact moved to germany at the start of the 80's... And you know the story !!!!
No frankly, I think chances are low that there isn't one (ex) Queen fan who has a better version. At least one person, the taper, has (or had) the masters and can help us on that matter.
Maybe some of those TFVLTA traders ("Trading For Very Long Time Ago" traders) could check their versions, and at least warn us if it any better than what is shared in Bokklepot's mega torrents or in the hub ?
