I received a text from my fellow QZ Commissioner of Tailgating, MercuryArts, saying that he and his lovely wife Theresa are now the proud parents of a beautiful little girl, named Olivia Rose. She was born on 3 July, weighing in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and is 20 inches long. Mother and baby are doing fine. Dad can use a stiff drink or three!
Welcome to the world, Olivia Rose. You have great parents who love you like crazy.
Hello Everyone,
Thank you all so much. It has been a whirlwind to say the least, but worth every moment! We are home & everyone is doing well. It's hard to believe its going to be two weeks since she was born! Olivia is changing almost everyday. It really is amazing. I am cherrishing every second.
Here's a pic from her first bath at home, more to come if I can continue to brag a little.... :-)

Please, let's not start a time capsule or weekly updates.
Sure, they're cute now, but then they grow up to be teenagers, dye their hair, wear shoddy clothing, and invade Queen message boards.
Congrats? Nope. Having babies is fairly easy and pretty common.
Good Luck!!! There's no manual.
Very beautiful!! I remember like it was yesterday that my kids were that small and sweet. Now they are 11 and 6 and as much as I love them...there are days I tell them they are going to be shipping in cardboard boxes (with holes) to Germany to live with YV.
I think I'll keep them though, they are still cute at least :)
How is everyone doing? I haven't been around much since Olivia was born. Here we are 9 weeks later. Amazing how everything has changed. Will I ever get to play my guitar or drums again??
Here's my take on the Master Card commercials...
Cost of a weeks worth of baby formula: $25.00
Cost of a 60 pack of diapers: $40.00
Seeing your daughter smile at you from ear to ear as you sing her '39, Dear Friends, Long Away & Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon......PRICELESS!!

That is what makes it all worthwhile for you. No matter what the cost, her smile will just melt your heart. Good luck to you all

@ ie: Gawd you're hot, darling! Oh, wait. This is MercArts' baby's thread. ;) Hi to Ray.
@ MercArts: Have had a great summer, but it's gone by so quickly. I may be heading up to Philly for a weekend in the next month or so, maybe I can come by the shop. I hope you and the family are well!
Xs and Os all!
