This recording was shared by Weedwacker67 on dimeadozen a few weeks ago. Thin Lizzy was the support band for Queen on this tour and I thought it might be interesting to have both Lizzy's and Queen's set so that you can enjoy this entire evening of great rock 'n roll.

Thanks for posting this here. Lizzy really gave Queen a run for their money on this tour.
All the surviving members of Lizzy remember this as their best live period. They never enjoyed
another tour as much as this one, and described the aftershow with both bands and sets of roadies
as a hedonistic time.
If I'm correct, there is something wrong here, this is not Gary Moore who played with Thin Lizzy in 1977, but Brian Robertson, we should correct the info.txt file.
Thank you on my way up and Weedwacker67 from dimeadozen
as a long term Lizzy Fan this is really appreciated ,wow theres so much going on here at the moment ,i will have
to get more hard disk space , i am starting to learn more every day about the benifits of sharing your music with
likeminded people.

Hey!
Good to see you back on Queenzone.
Are you planning to share the remaining part of the Sun City concert too?
That would be fantastic of course...!
Also, maybe you would like to consider sharing it in lossless quality (FLAC)
Anthony has said he's going to share the second part too but he had some problems with his PC. It looks like you missed that post:-)
I must say that I'm looking forward to the second part too:-) I'm excited to hear whether the second part is as brilliant as the first part!

It is correct. Brian "Robbo" Robertson cut his hand badly in a bar fight just a week before the tour was to begin and couldn't play guitar for many weeks to come, so Gary Moore was his replacement for this tour...

Ah yes, I remember the story, but could not remember the date it happened. Thanks a lot for making it clearer !
