BEAUTIFULLY performed, that's just about the most perfect vocal recording I've heard on this site.
Stylistically I can't really get behind it. Way too ... happy sounding. Almost to the point of being beige.
I can't overstate this; it's a magnificent recording, you did a 5 star job. I just liked the pacing of the original better, it managed to sound sort of melancholic.
Bravo all the same!
I'm glad you guys liked it!
We're actually working on an a-capella Queen medley, merging Fairy King, Fairy Feller's and Nevermore together. Since we needed to upload something to myspace ASAP, we recorded a rough version of Nevermore, using a crappy condenser microphone for overhead drums, and Ok-ish pres from an old 4 channel mixer into the board. Overall, I think it sounds rather OK :)
The Nekare Project is
Natalia Fernandez: Lead vocals and countermelodies
Andres Guazzelli: Backing vocals, choirs and harmonic background
As soon as we finish the medley demo, I'll send it to yourvalentine :)
Thanks again, and keep on comin'!
Feedback appreciated :)
Andrés
I think that you are from Mar del Plata, aren't you? Well, congrats again. You did a great job! By the way, I'm form Mardel too, I have a band and we are looking for a male singer to make some Queen music. If you know somebody interested in take the singer position, please tell me. (not Guille Josef, he is too busy, ja,ja).

Very cool stuff. Ah...it's a good time for the stage once more [/img]
I pretty much echo what Zeb wanted to say, bar the 'not my thing,' bit. I'd love to hear more. But I understand what he meant about the happy vibe! Think that's an attitude thing when recording. You set the vibe, so, these peeps were/are happy folk! lol
