Thanks Kurgan and thanks Alex! Hey Alex, about the artwork:
Some time ago, you made artwork for some other version of Oxford 1973. I wrilly like your work, you are the best in this field, If it would up to me I would like to have for all my boots your artwork. Anyway, the picture that you used on previous cover (especially front picture) is breathtakeing to me. Freddie on stage in 1973 and some fan in front of the stage, having a hell of a great time (do we maby know who this person is !?). I would be very happy to have that same cover with those picures, just remodified with lineage and all that ( it would be maby pitty to throw away that beautuful cover). But if you had in plan something completely different, it's ofcourse your choise.
Pittrek is planning to make some more complete version (he'll probably include the soundcheck and fill some gaps!?). Maby to wait his version and than make the cover. You should probably contact him about his version.
You should offer your work to queenproduction and make visual thing for them. I still don't want to buy the montreal 1981 cause lame cover. I know: "Don't judge a book by a cover" But this is queen we are talking about! The one thing beside music that I allways liked about queen, is their visual presentation in 1970s. Can't describe that with words. Just simply stunning and beautiful.
You are very gifted and as I ones said, you wrilly capture the spirit of a certain queen era. And this is very important to me, as I'm very visual type of a person, Thanks for all your work!

Alex, you seem an ok guy (when you stop the cursing!) and genuine fan
Tell me what shows are low quality, perhaps I have better for you to split before I up them.
I also have the sound check of this one from the same tape I upped it from.

haha you talk like we know each other or we exchanged words in the past? not sure, I talk to a lot people 'round here... thanks a lot for the offer, you're very kind!
I'll try to recall which shows are kinda bad quality and need an upgrade, especially from the early days!
(btw, I only curse against those who deserve it or attack(ed) me with no reason, if you felt insulted by me for no particular reason in the past then I apologize)
Cool, looking forward to it. I'm planning on uploading a best possible version of the Oxford 73 to add to Pittrek's thread, and I already have two copies of the soundcheck (one is shorter but better quality)... so hopefully your version will be of help !
Megaupload is down :(
So.....time to repair some links here and there, starting with the ones from 1973 !!! :)

I have got about 100 audio tapes go through and I'm only up to 1974.
It's all a bit of a time consuming bore and to be honest I'm posting some samples on YouTube mainly to generate a few trades.
It will all end up out there eventually I'm sure.

Don't know what's the best new share of the year, but this is for sure the statement of the year.
You will not survive without them. They are memorabilia of your life not of Queen's life.
I can wait until "will end up here eventually". Do you mean after your death or sooner? (I thought i was talking to Brian for a second.)
Don't you need an archivist? You can call me Greg.

I can survive with a bit less clutter, and my wife would appreciate that I think.
What I meant is, my transfers usually end up on here after I've traded them a few times, that's inevitable.
I don't intend on dying before that happens, or feel the need of an archivist, but thanks for asking Greg.
