QUEEN IT'S A KILLER Lineage : IT'S A KILLER (Silvers) -> Wav (EAC) -> Flac level 8 (Traders Little Helper) This bootleg is a recording of the 1980.09.10 Milwaukee show. I don't know what version was shared in Bokkleppot's 1980 torrent, but this is the 2nd gen version, bootlegged by Wardour. Comments (from www.queenlive.ca) : Wardour bootlegged the second gen copy in 2006. A radio promo for this show is also included, bring the length to 99 minutes in all. This bootleg came wit a DVD, containing the St Paul's show a few days after : but I can't find it, it seems I haven't got it anymore, or it is very well hidden somewhere ! Anyway I won't upload a DVD here as it would be too long. Tracklisting : CD1 : 01. Radio Promo Spot for Milwaukee Concert 02. Intr (Thunderbolts And Lightning) 03. Jailhouse Rock 04. Only converting for your own abuse, keep these flac files somewhere for future trades. If ever your hard drive is lacking free space, well, you should now think about deleting your girlfriend's Bonnie Tyler's songs. Kind Regards everyone ! Olivier, Belgium. |

pittrek wrote: Thank you very much, Olivier . BTW what do you have against Bonnie Tyler ? :-) Nothing at all !! If you have nothing to do on 15th of August, you can always go to the Rock In Rechberghausen (in southern Germany) to see her. On the same bill you will probably prefer Roger Chapman anyway (ex-singer of the band "Family"), a much more interesting artist in my opinion. Come on Peter, don't tell me you still have your collection of Bonnie Tyler, do you ? I'm still trying to find a way to get rid of her "Best Of" CD that my girlfriend has, stuck between "Tygers Of Pan Tang" and "UFO", it sticks out like a sore thumb ;o) Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Hi, Olivier! How are you doing? Have you had a good sunday? I hope so! Oh, my. Thank you so much. Thanks? Thanking, just like this, is not enough, I wish you guys could witness how happy I get when such gems show up on the board. This is the game tour...my first criterion for dowloading something here is its provenance: if it's from the Game Tour, bring it on and you save the world from a dangerous terrorist. An all too active and energetic girl, whose seething emotions are always boiling to the point of eruption, is clearly a danger to society and, if pacified through educational measures such as these, she - in this case, me - may turn out to hold back her terrorist instincts. You did all that by sharing a record from the game tour and, above all, I must say, in an absolutely CUTE way! This time, you beat Pittrek. True, Pittrek did merge the two sources for kindly providing us with a better version of the Rotterdam gig. For that I'm absolutely thankful. But he made a huge flaw: he shared it in a very dry, straightforward way, without making it cute somehow, as you did. You enriched the share by inserting a little story about the boyfriend and the girfriend and the "ipod paradox". It was sweet, it made the share more personal. Two people who like each other listening to music together sometimes. Isn't it absolutely cute? It is, even if there are times when one of them feels like listening to it alone to avoid hearing the annoying bits of the taste of the other. There's always time for love and good music, though! Thanks, Olivier! Now the peaceful moonlight is shining through my room and stroking my sleepy face. I have neither the willingness nor the energy to be a terrorist now!!! --------------------------- Hi, Mr. Taper! [waving the hands to the taper] Thank you a lot for this, whoever and wherever you may be! ------------------------ AH! This version sounds brighter and clearer to me. The sound is a bit dry and harsh, sometimes, but it sounds overall better than the one I downloaded from the Bokkeppot collection, which is great and comes from the same source, I guess, but sounds more muffled and deadened. The sound quality of this one is really great. It sounds much better than many of the Game Tour gigs I have listened to so far. Provided, the sound is a bit distorted and the record runs at an unsteady speed, sometimes even too fast to my taste - though I may be absolutely wrong, of course - but these downsides notwithstanding, the recording is simply superb. The sound quality is great and the performance is top-notch, except for Brian May - what happened to him in so many of the gigs from the Game Tour? He's pretty sloppy in this one. Apart from that, it's a lovely and powerful performance. |

You're right about Brian's playing during this gig, Yara(Bob also comments about it on his site). If you want to check out Brian at his very best you can download the Rotterdam share from Pittrek:-) Ain't that great?! |

Do you read that Pittrek !! I CAN BEAT YOU !! You'll never surrender ;o) Right, two people listening to music together 95% of the time, I'm very happy with that! When we met, she said she listened to Deep Purple a lot (never knew that many girls who listened to hard rock)... I was about to ask her to marry me ;o) Still, this CD of Bonnie Tyler is still a sort of puzzle for me... It never made its way to the hi-fi since we met, so I guess it won't be a problem if it suddenly disappears ;o) Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Well sure you can beat me, you maybe already did :-) We all owe you a lot, I'm "investing" only an insane number of hours of my (otherwise) free time and (literally) hundreds of e-mails to get new shows from which many appeared here, you "invest" also a lot of money to share stuff here, which is absolutely fantastic these days :) |

Well, to be 100% honest there is almost no input from me, all the work was done by the bootleg companies, I'm just uploading the files on rapidshare and that's all !! No, I can't toy with the sound/video as you do, that's what is called added value !! You're the technician, I'm only one of the numerous uploaders here ! Your work on the Best Of The Best series, or "Viva Italia" for example, to name but a few, is just incredibly good and important to us, let's give it all back to you. I just click here and there and let the computer do the work, nothing more ! I'm in fact very happy when my upload can be used by people like you for creating multi-sources or things like that ! What Yara said I think was that my share (the way I share and present the recording) was sexiest than yours. I don't know what is really sexy in it, but hey... Well, why not opening a contest ? To complete the upload frenzy (which became wider than only the Brian May stuff), June will be the month of the sexy shares, and Yara will have to vote at the end of the month... Uploaders, on your marks, get set, go ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Hi, folks! Thanks for the wonderful share again. I do recommend people who haven't listened to this one to download it - the sound quality is above the average for the Game Tour gigs I have listened to and the performance is very agressive and energetic. PITTREK & OLIVIER I enjoy what you both do here. There are many ways to make ourselves and people happy, each one of you has found yours. Pittrek's work on Hammersmith Odeon 1979 still wonders me. And taking into account that the concert, which happens to be my favorite, will hardly be officially released, it's just great to be able to listen to it in great quality. :-) So, thanks Pittrek! Olivier has shared so many great stuff that I can't even keep track of it all, but I always look out for his shares and his comments - I loved the Brian May frenzy! :-))))) And...being cute. It doesn't have to be sexy, no, being cute is enough - just cute, having that huggable quality to it, even abstract ideas and expressions may be cute just like a little puppy. I won't deny that this exert some attraction on me and is a factor I take into account when I download things - "Viva Italia" was so cute...It was very unlikely that I would download a concert from 1984, but Pittrek got me on the title. :-) Viva both of you. :op Take care, guys, and have a wonderful day! Yara P.S.: People, this one is really worth downloading. :-) P.S2.: On My Way Up, I'm just absolutely flattered by finding myself agreeing with dear Knight Sir GH. :-) He's very knowledgeable and his website is a joy to read. I'm quite fond of this Sir. ;-) Well, it seems that now, On My Way Up, in order to compensate for my Freddie-bias, I'll have to make room for downloading Rotterdam '79. It's indeed great, it's such a treat. I love listening to the band's live performances and I get really happy and excited whenever a great share like this way makes its way into the board. I love it. I get thrilled. I hope you're ok too and that you have a great day! |
