It was a pretty good day. I mostly just hung out and did absolutely nothing after a long, tiring weekend. The real celebration was on Saturday. My brother and I went to see Toad the Wet Sprocket, a band we've both loved since childhood, at the McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte. The show was amazing! I'd never been to a show in a theater before, so I didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was so cool! I love small shows. We had pretty good seats, but really, I don't think there was a bad seat in the whole place. It seemed you would have a good view of the action pretty much anywhere you sat.
The opening act was pretty not good though. It felt like he just played the same song six times in a row, and it wasn't a very good one. I don't know how he got the gig. All I can figure is someone owed him a favor. Ha! He seemed like a nice guy tough...
Once Toad came out, all was well. The band played great, and It was an awesome set.
