Thanks to the original taper (unknown) and uploader (unknown) 02) 1982-04-12; Drammen (Pitrek Best Of The Best) Queen Live In Drammen 1982 Flac Lineage: Master > 1st Gen Cassette > WAV > CDR (x) > WAV > FLAC level 8 > WAV > Har-Bal > Wavelab > WAV > FLAC level 8 **As always, I have restored/remastered this FOR MY OWN USE. I hope the community sees it as enough of an upgrade to want it, but if you don't like it, please don't download it. I have corrected the equalisation with Har-Bal, then applied high- and low-pass filters with a Waves Renaissance 2-band eq and brought back up to level (-0.2dB) with a Waves L3 limiter in Wavelab. No dynamic range has been lost, and there is a significant increase in the peak-to-average ratio. I have removed the digi-noise at the beginning (and end?) and created new fades. Where there were cuts in the audio I have crossfaded one piece into the next, leading to smoother (though not perfect) results. I have re-tracked the songs and corrected the balance between left and right channels. Very few eq boosts were used, and...NO DENOISERS!! ** Enjoy. One of the best performances during the Hot Space tour IMO. In Staying Power, Freddie sings Fucking Power instead. Tracklist is the same as Milton Keynes. DO NOT SHARE THIS IN ANY FORM OF LOSSY FORMAT (WHICH MEANS MP3, WMA, OGG ETC.) Convert to lossy only for personal use. If this gets shared in any form of lossy format I will stop sharing. Lineage should always be included as information in trades. Thanks to the original taper (unknown) and uploader (unknown) 24) 1982-06-01; Edinburgh Queen Edinburgh, Scotland Ingliston Showground June 1, 1982 This is a great show from '82. The band play essentially the same set as they do on the official Milton Keynes DVD which was filmed four days later. This one is an excellent audience recording (or close to excellent, depending on how you rate these things). It's definitely worth hearing, as Queen were at the peak of their powers on this tour. I've corrected the pitch of this recording since it ran about a semitone too slow, but otherwise it is a direct copy of the audience master. Lineage: AUD > Master > WAV > CDR > EAC > GoldWave (pitch correction) > FLAC frontend (level 8) Distribute these files only if they are left completely unaltered. As always with my shares, be sure that this recording is not made available at Queenzone or elsewhere in mp3 or any other lossy format. Keep lossless files lossless. 41) 1982-10-29; Sapporo (Pitrek Best Of The Best) Queen Sapporo, Japan Hokkaidoritso Sangyo Kyoshinakaji October 29, 1982 This is a mix of two bootlegs from this show to create what seems to be the definitive version. The bulk of it is from the "Live In Japan 1982.10.29" (BGS) silver, and the gaps are filled in with "Hot Space In Cold Place" (Breakdown). The former is from a pre-LP tape, and its sound quality is truly excellent. About 1:30 is added to beginning of show from the Breakdown version, as well as Love Of My Life, Get Down Make Love, Body Language, Under Pressure, and Tie Your Mother Down. I have sped up the Breakdown version 1/3 of a semitone, and brought the volume down 30%. Lineage: Live In Japan 1982.10.29" (BGS) silver > WAV (EAC) > FLAC (Frontend level 8) > WAV > FLAC (Frontend level 8) "Hot Space In Cold Place" (Breakdown) > CDR (x) > WAV > GoldWave (pitch/speed correction, volume adjusted) > FLAC (Frontend level 8) Distribute these files only if they are left completely unaltered. This recording should not made available at Queenzone or elsewhere in mp3 or any other lossy format. Thanks to the original taper (unknown) and uploader (Sir GH) 42) 1982-11-03; Tokorozawa (probably lossy source) City: Tokyo Venue: Seibu Lions Stadium Date:november 3rd, 1982 Lineage: Space Boogie (silver) > flac level 8 Thanks to the original taper (unknown) and uploader (unknown) All these concerts are checked with Audiochecker to determine the source of these files (lossy or lossless). If Audiochecker has some negativ advise, I have checked the concerts also with Tau-analyzer. If okay with Tau, I see them as lossless source, if not I have added the "(probably lossy source)" words to the file-name. Very dissapointing to have so less information for you all. Lot's of unknown sources, but better this than nothing :) I don't have any lineage of every single concert because some are downloaded from the Queenhub. In the early days of the Queenhub, sadly, it wasn't normal to create txt files with lineage info. Thanks to the original taper/uploader of this concert where/who ever you are ! Have a good download and keep things lossless which are posted lossless and lossy what is posted lossy here :) If somebody has better quality versions (or lossless versions from the lossy one which is posted), please think about sharing it here at least I would like it !! ;) If you have some additional information (about source desciption, tapers info or uploader info, maybe even lineage info), please let me know !! greetings Bokkepoot |

TIGER, If you check. You will find this is the date they played Saturday night live. Not the best of shows, they done. It's readily avaivable, If you know where to look. ;-) Thanks for posting this, but nothing new here for me. I can't believe the effort you go to, so these concerts are made available to all. Thank you very much. If only Queenzone was like this all the time. |

Besides, it's impossible to document all the recordings from the recent shows. Dozens (or potentially hundreds) of people are recording every show in one way or another. I aim for Queenlive.ca to be as complete and accurate as possible, and by adding QPR, I would be nowhere near able to do the job properly simply because the information I'd need is far too scattered. |

Thank you very much Marco... I didn't have Sapporo and New York July 27th. I think both Cologne are lossy... can anybody confirm this? |

Hmm, I don't think dozens / hundreds of people are recording every show in one way or another. Sure, there are a lot of snippets made with digital photocameras and cell phones and some mp3 recordings made with ipods and all that but most of the times the snippets are all there is. Those recordings are most of the times very bad quality ones and far from complete.. Decent complete and lossless recordings made with decent equipment aren't there from every show. Certainly not dozens and certainly not videos. Talking about videos: I know QPR shows from wich nothing has surfaced yet. Not even a bad cellphone video snippet. So putting it on queenlive.ca : The job CAN be done. Martin made a good starting point, but the lineage isn't always included on his site... |

Those recordings are most of the times very bad quality ones and far from complete..Right... but regardless of their quality and length, they still count. A short, bad quality 8mm video from 1977 is something we keep track of, so it should be no different for something from last year. Decent complete and lossless recordings made with decent equipment aren't there from every show. Certainly not dozens and certainly not videos. Talking about videos: I know QPR shows from wich nothing has surfaced yet. Not even a bad cellphone video snippet.Interesting... but I still maintain that in general there are exponentially more recent recordings out there, thus they're far more difficult to keep track of. The average person these days has a cell phone or a digital camera with them at a concert. The beauty of keeping track of recordings (and even pictures) from the 70s and 80s is that only a few brave people managed to bring their cameras and recording gear into the venue. So putting it on queenlive.ca : The job CAN be done. Martin made a good starting point, but the lineage isn't always included on his site... Well, I greatly appreciate the encouragement. Maybe... some day one day... ! |

Hi !! Thanks a lot for all these shares. I know what you share is what you have, so don't take it bad ;o) But I just checked the recording from Würzburg, 1982.05.09. It seems the files are lossy, and Fat Bottomed Girls is corrupt. So two questions : 1/ is there any kind soul here in possession of a lossless recording from the same concert, and without files corrupted ? 2/ the second question was easy to guess, could this kind soul share his version here ? Thanks in advance ! And thanks once again for all your shares ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

I just re-encoded the file with TLH, and then I've had to make some of them wav files first. I've had to do that with many files recently, and it always seems to work, but I can't always use level 8..I don't know much about these things, so I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong Sorry I can't help you with the lossy thing :( BTW: Recently I've Been called "dude", "Sir" and "He". Wrong gender![/img] |

I'm so happy I finally have the 2 Cologne shows. Even though the sound quality is pretty poor, I must say the band were on fire! I really hope better versions for these 2 shows will surface. If it were not the Vienna shows but these too that were recorded in great quality the 2 Cologne shows would be 'must have'-shows:-)(funny how it goes in the world of collecting). In the ideal world we would have great sounding copies of both pair of shows(and all the others haha). It's really safe to say Europe 1982 was a highlight for the band. Fantastic to hear them experiment the first month and in May they are really on fire! |

I think that first night of Cologne has a great delivery of Somebody to love (see the second verse!) and another great performance is Kassel. But I couldn't download yet the US tour. So when I will have time, which are the must have? |

Sorry Bokkepot, could you reupload from ZURICH 16.4.82 the track "Back chat (improvisation) + Save me" because is damaged. Thanks in advance! |

I'm listening to the end of the first Cologne concert right now, I was really surprised when Freddie went for the high note in the rock part of Bohemian Rhapsody, really good sounding concert and queen are really on fire, as they were for most of the tour to be honest! |

That's such a GREAT idea. After my absence from the site for some years I was impressed to find such HUGE torrents... and I'd only need it partially.... and then finding no seeder is so sad.... Would anybody be so kind and re-activate this? Help me a little bit? I can see two seeders with the complete pack, but I don't get connected! If YOU are one of them, would you be so kind and PM me to find out what goes wrong and how we could change this? Thanks in advance! |
