On the Queenhub I couldn't find a good recording, so I decided to rip this one from the DVD with this lineage: DVD > DVD Audio Extractor > WAV > songtitles added > FLAC (level 8) with Foobar2000 2) 1985-01-18; Rio De Janeiro Must be the same as shared here on Queenzone recently Anyway I have this one also from the hub. Sadley no Lineage known. 3) 1985-04-19; Melbourne (Pitrek Best Of The Best) Is shared long time agon on Queenzone by whitemanAdmin. I can't find the topic when he did share it on Queenzone. Unfortunately again no lineage known. 4) 1985-04-26; Sydney (probably lossy source) Taken from the infotext: Hello Everybody, It's been a while since I've shared here. Ginger01 was kind enough to repost this concert video back in May. I finally had a chance to see this concert and I really thought Queen were in top form and Freddie's vocals were on, so I decided to rip the audio from the MPEG video, split the tracks and share this with you. I'm not sure how accurate the history is on this , but I believe it goes like this: VHS>DVD>MPEG movie>DVD files>WAV audio>FLAC Level 8(.fla). Note from me: Audiochecker and Tau-analyzer have their doubts about the fact that this recording is lossless or not, so I have mentioned it in the folder name. 5) 1985-05-08; Tokyo taken from the infotext: Ginger originally contacted me regarding to this show downloaded from the HUB cuz Whisperer (who was downloading this show from her) told her that it was a speed problem in this show, so Ginger sent me the show and I edited it using Goldwave 5.23 correcting that (higher) pitch problem. No SB errors. Before describing the lineage/process of this show I must to point out that this is the real date, there was no May 7 th show. Only days 8 and 9. Lineage: AUD > ?? > FLAC files > decompression using Goldwave > edit of the resulting WAV files (speed correcting about a semi-tone down) > re-encoding of the wav files to FLAC using FLAC Frontend (level 8) Quality: Good Total size: 557 MB Thanks so much to Ginger for sharing this show in first instance with me. Enjoy and do not convert this to any shitty lossy format unless is for personal use. This recording is originally shared by Alex Solan. 6) 1985-05-08; Tokyo (Final Budokan Nights bootleg) Taken from infotext: Folks, this is a new Japanese silver boot release from "Uxbridge" called Queen Final Budokan Nights Disc 1 is a new incomplete recording of May 8th 1985. The recording ends with an incomplete "Love Of My Life". Apparently, the taper lost his second tape, a pity. The CD comes from the original tape. This share comes right from the silver encoded to flac with Flac Frontend level 8. File size 350 MB (Discs 2 and 3 are a new master recording from May 9th and will be shared later) This recording is originally shared by YourValentine. 7) 1985-05-09; Tokyo (Final Budokan Nights Bootleg) Taken from infotext: Folks, here come discs 2 and 3 from the Uxbridge release "Final Budokan Nights" - i.e. May 9th 1985. It's a new source that did not circulate before. So, even if the quality may not be so much better it's worth having for completists. This recording is originally shared by YourValentine. 8) 1985-05-09; Tokyo (Pitrek Best Of The Best) Taken from Infotext: This is an upgrade of the already fantastic recording from Queen's last ever show at the Budokan, from the good folks at the Wardour label. This show is one of my personal favourites, as Freddie Mercury's voice is unbelievably powerful on this night. This is surely the best show of the Works tour in my eyes (two days before the officially-released one, where Freddie's voice isn't quite so strong). Wardour claims their copy is from the master, and I have no reason to doubt it. The sound is impeccably clear, with no flaws in sight. Lineage (assumingly): AUD > Master > WAV > CDR (1) > WAV > FLAC frontend (level 8) This recording is originally shared by Sir GH. 9) 1985-05-11; Tokyo Taken from Infotext: LINEAGE: Silver CDs > CDParanoia (ripping logs included) > FLAC level 8 Liberated bootleg "The Last Time In Japan" (Viking Records 2004, catalogue no. VIK37/38). As the name suggests, this was one of Queen's final concerts in Japan before they withdrew from live work after 1986. A lovely stereo soundboard recording and probably one of the best-sounding Queen boots out there. Artwork included. 10) 1985-05-13; Nagoya There is totally no information/lineage from the source of this concert. It's lossless, so it has to be added in this torrent. 11) 1985-05-15; Osaka (Pitrek Best Of The Best) Taken from the infotext: Masterpoint release "The final concert in Japan" Sorry....no lineage to know for sure. |

Thanks a lot for again a lot of great shows. Am I the only one that has a problem with the Nagayo show? I get the following error message when I try to burn the show for "Is this the world we created" and Love of my life": ERROR: ERROR: Cannot open audio file "C:/DOCUME~1/JANWIL~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/burrrn_temp/14_14 - Is This The World We Created.wav": No such file or directory ERROR: C:\Program Files\Burrrn\burrrn.toc:58: Cannot determine length of track data specification. If you find some missing and or damaged songs, sorry.....I don't have a solution for this. I'm only sharing what I have (and for sure I bring some shows which are never shared before on Queenzone) I'm also a collector like you and can't garantee that I can bring everything in here 100% complete because I don't have everything. Posting a 95% concert is better than keep the concert away from queenzone. Just to clarify, the lineage of the second 5-9-85 recording should be: "At Last Budokan" (Wardour) silvers > WAV > FLAC level 8. It's impossible to confirm tape generation of a bootleg, so the lineage should always start with the silver... sorry for the confusion. |
