Okay, you probably all know by now that the main selection of tracks is from the "Live Killers" album. I have to say though, that in response to Brian's comment on his website "And this seemingly throwaway item will introduce Queen to lots of young folks who were not around when we were out there with Freddie treading the boards.", the experienced cynical old fan in me just knows it will give the band another reason to re-release thir Greatest Hits packages..... again... :( |

I thought it was supposed to be a Queen CD, not a Free CD. [/img] |

Still though, they will probably shift a few more tickets for the musical too. |

I can't believe QP sanctioned this product. I suppose the greatest hits albums will be back in the charts by the end of the week. Singles box 2 is coming out soon, has anybody heard anything on the proposed vinyl editions? By the way does anyone have One Year of Love on 12" and would they be prepared to sell it? |

Is the sound quality any improvement to Live Killers? |

Never released on 12" (assume you mean the extended version), but it was released on CD on the USA release of Highlander a few years ago (The one in the metal cover). However, there's a nasty glitch in it (Freddie's vocal is WAY too loud) on the first word, but a clever bit of normalisation reduces it to an almost unnoticable level). Nice track though and a worth extended version. Oh. And no, I won't sell the CD! |

Sir GH wrote: Is the sound quality any improvement to Live Killers? Sounds amazing to me, much more bass and more vibrant and alive. That said, my copy is the Hollywood records release of '91. Did they do a better mix for the japanese release? |

Yes, the Japanese remaster sounds fantastic (compared to the US release and the Abbey Road crap). Where can I get this disc ? |

Those are 2 different editions of the same remasters |

Why is The Mail on Sunday making false claims that it's the 'first time that Queen have allowed their music in collabaration with a newspaper'? I've still got the 'We Will Rock You' CD given away with the Sun newspaper seven years ago http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1169307/For-time--Queen-Ten-great-hits-sensational-rock-band-todays-The-Mail-Sunday.html |

To add to the confusion; yes, the French 12'' of One Year Of Love is a figment of your imagination. Especially if it's a monotone purple-ish sleeve. no, the extended version never appeared on a 12'' version of this song. yes, the extended version is a very worthy mix indeed. both items are nice to have in any good Queen collection. |
