I've been talking to a Queen fan in Portland, Maine and traded a ton of shit and paid big money for this. He has an audio recording of it. I haven't seen it on Queenzone and I don't download Queen concerts on here, but even if it's on here, I'm excited. I have it on two CDs. I AM FUCKING EXCITED. It's not the BEST recording, as it's got a lot of damn noise on it as he recorded it himself and he was just an audience member, but still, I'm THRILLED. He's actually the guy that told me about Queenzone back in September of 2001. He doesn't even post on here, but he visits. He has photos of the concert too, BUT, I have to wait a while for those. I thank him, VERY much! I just wanted to let everyone know about this, as it's something happy for me. And if you come nagging saying it's been uploaded and all that crap, I don't care. I GOT IT FROM THE GUY WHO RECORDED IT, so it's wonderful. I'm also talking to a lady who was at an Oklahoma concert in '82 and she has photos she's going to send me once she finds them. I thank her very much too! |

I'm interested in a copy. You can mail me at mrducksoup@hotmail.com I'm sure we can work something out. I read in the collecting and trading section you are looking for some cd singles and cassette singles I have. Maybe we can do a trade. |
Winter Land Man 15.04.2009 04:04 |
Yes, there's some CD/vinyl/cassette singles I'm interested in. E-mail me everything you got, and I'll go through and see if there's anything I want. jakebritt01@queenzone.com |

It's maybe a great idea to upload one song so we can check out the quality:-) Regarding the setlist: shouldn't Another one bites the dust not come before Now I'm here? What kind of concert material would you like in return for this recording? |

What kind of concert material would you like in return for this recording? I don't know, I might post a sample later on. If I see something I want badly, I will post a whole song to whoever has what I want. I don't think I want concert material. I think I want rare singles. I enjoy this concert because I've wanted it for a while because it happens to be in Maine, in which I'm a great fan of that state. I'm really not BIG into collecting Queen concerts, I could care less actually. I enjoy the official releases more. I'm more of a CD/LP/7"/12"/Cassette collector than a concert collector. I don't even know how to download a torrent, so, there you go. PS - The tracklisting is how he put it on the CD for me. |

God! What's this concert worth? |

Another One Bites the Dust is part of the Now I'm Here/Dragon Attack medley? |

Sorry but sounds like another fucking announcement that then never is true. |

Funny! No, AOBTD is not part of a medly. I am not sure of the running order and GSTQ he didn't get to record. He separted them on the computer and put them on two CDs as mp3s. There's no big instrumental jams or whatever either... he either didn't record them or they weren't quality or they didn't do any. As I've said, it's not the best quality. The quality of the recording has a lot of audience noise but you can hear what they are playing and all, including Get Down Make Love, but for some reason there's a lot of bullshit going on during that track. If I can't find anything worth trading, I might try to clean up the sound and post it on here for free on July 4th for a Holiday gift to Queenzone. I might also make a CD package for my family and friends for Christmas. Disc One 1. Jailhouse Rock 2. We Will Rock You ... the fast version 3. Let Me Entertain You 4. Play The Game 5. Mustapha 6. Death On Two Legs 7. Killer Queen 8. Need Your Loving Tonight 9. I'm In Love With My Car 10. Get Down Make Love 11. Save Me 12. Now I'm Here Disc Two 1. Another One Bites The Dust 2. Dragon Attack 3. Now I'm Here 4. Fat Bottomed Girls 5. Love Of My Life 6. Keep Yourself Alive 7. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 8. Bohemian Rhapsody 9. Tie Your Mother Down 10. We Will Rock You 11. We Are The Champions |

"He separted them on the computer and put them on two CDs as mp3s" These must be really big mp3 files... |
Micrówave 16.04.2009 12:01 |
So "trading" for an unauthorized taping is NOT bootlegging, huh? |
The Real Wizard 16.04.2009 12:33 |
Micrówave wrote: So "trading" for an unauthorized taping is NOT bootlegging, huh? Bootlegging is doing it for money, so I guess it comes down to sematics to decide if trading for records is the same as money. But since the artist already made money on the record sale, trading for a record is the lesser of the two evils, I think. |

I'm keeping my hopes up, if only because I'm desperate for some new late-'70s/early-'80s material to pop up. |
