BBC Radio 2 have resurrected "Sounds Of The 70's", this time hosted by Johnnie Walker.
During last Sunday's show (April 5th 2009), he played the aforementioned radio interview.
It's only about 6 minutes long and includes "Killer Queen".
NOTE.
The original file was downloaded from the BBC's "Listen Again" option because I only found out about it a couple of days ago. I needed to edit the relevant bit from the show so the file was saved out as WAV, but because the original source was a download it is in no way lossless!
NEW NOTE!
Radio 2 obviously got the date wrong.
KQ wasn't released until October 74, and the band played the 2 dates mentioned in the interview in mid February 1975, so the interview dates from week beginning 9th February, 1975.
typical blinkin BBC research!
Thank you very much! Really interesting interview! :-) By the way, I think it was 01/01/1975 (there is an error by the DJ), it can't be 01/01/1974! :-)
This looks really interesting but I downloaded this and it won't play on my FLV Player? Other FLAC files play. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the player? I have the last version of FLV Player 2.0.25. Any Ideas?
Thanks..

This might not be the solution you require, but download a FLAC to WAV converter.....
