Having been away from the boards for awhile I thought I would pop back for a look to see if any of the old posters were still here. I have been reading the posts between fatty and Jake. Jake has now used an alias fatty. it is an old troll trick to use a name like another poster, in this case it is fatty who is the victim. When is all this bullshit trolling going to end? At one time queenzone used to be a fun place to post good topics in. Now it seems it is worse than it's ever been. I am not taking sides here I would just like to see peace here for a change. My father recently died of cancer and it made me think that we are only here for a short time, why not spend that time be considerate to one another.

Tragic Magic> Do you seriously expect me to believe that you created an account and logged onto Queenzone just to state the bleedin' obvious and sperad your words of peace and understanding. I think it's far more likely that you are another figment of Jake's limited imagination created to diffuse a situation you couldn't cope with.
Jake> Your sole intention was to cause harm as was mine.
Panchgani> The bullshit will stop when it no longer amuses me until then you'll just have to put up with it.
Jake> Your sudden change in attitude leads me to suspect that you've had your bottom smacked and been given a stern warning from the powers that be. For me it's still business as usual.
fatty.
I think our shit is fucking up Queenzone. It appears some people don't like our posts lately.

I've had no complaints. Then again I was trying to keep it to two or three of the threads that you started. Then some prick thought it would be a good idea to create a flood of new threads using posts from years ago. I wonder who that prick was?
fatty.
There's two complaints about us on this thread alone. I don't know why. BUT THEY CERTAINLY HAVE A PHOTO OF ME AS A DISPLAY PHOTO AND IT'S NOT MY PROFILE, but it sure is funny.

You're right fatty - there is nothing I can do about it.
Evidently, your personal attacks and Britt's personal attacks are acceptable as I am the only one complaining.

All I can suggest is e-mailing YourValentine or Richard Orchard, but who knows how much will actually get accomplished.
Why? Who says my point of view is objective? Who says what is censorable in an unmoderated forum? Besides, this is not my forum ... I am only a guest here.

But as I have said before... there is NOTHING left to talk about... one of the top posts right now is speculating about when Freddie got the AIDS virus.. this is 21 years after he died!!
Its a graveyard. Unless you are into the Brian/Roger/musical prostitutes bullshit 'guest' vocalist crap there is NOTHING left.
Take up collecting stamps.

While I agree that some of the threads are not well thought out/already answered, I must respectfully disagree. Queen is one of the greatest bands of all time. If people stop talking about them, then I think quite a bit of people would miss out, people who have barely heard of Queen and want to learn more, or people that are new to QueenZone. There is always a purpose to discuss such a great band.
It remains new stuff for many people. Not every veteran is always going to be in the mood to talk about things they've talked about a hundred times before, but there should be one or two people who can muster the patience to give a civil, maybe even warm answer any given hour on QZ. A conversation is a bit like the Olympics. Once one starts anything can happen, including things wonderful and unanticipated. Instead we seem to end up with a lot of virtual eye rolling and "Here we go again!". It's a bit ridiculous and a lot cynical. If you have nothing left to say people totally get that, but I at least don't get the desire to bring things down for everybody else.

You're right. The only exception I'd make is to those godawful "when did Fred get Aids" topics and the endless variations on the same topic.
I may be right, but as I am Canadian and this is the summer of 2012 there are almost certainly at least two people somewhere in the world slightly more right then I am. :)
