Can we trust in this information??? Is this official??? I'll personally wait for some official information, but of course, it will be nice to have this show on CD and/or DVD. Saludos. RAFAEL |

On one hand, I'm thrilled that they're even releasing a DVD from this tour. On the other, I wish it was from one of the later shows with a more daring setlist, like the South American gigs where Under Pressure and Las Palabras were played. |

You never know, those COULD be included as bonus features :-) |

You never know. They might release one of the South American gigs on CD/DVD for the South American fans. I would hope so. |

Unless the bonus footage is fab I'm not buying it. |

Would have been better if they released a later show, say, a from few gigs in, when they played some new stuff!! like "time to shine" or "Warboys" most of the rest of the tour, was a bit "same old, same old!!!" |

Yeah. The show where they played "Time To Shine" would be great on DVD. Pitty they don't have footage :-) |

Actually they MIGHT. At least SOME of the shows, if not closer to all, may have had their high-definition footage (displayed on the screens) recorded and saved. I highly suspect that's the kind of footage from where that 'All Right Now' (Riga) video on YouTube came from. |

Even if they had, it would have been a "dream on" situation. It wasn't really what you would call a "smooth rendition" of the song. You know, with Brian being Mr. Perfectionist and all :) |

okay, so we're finally getting the infamous Ukraine gig .... with that HUUUUUGE audience .... with that embarrasing overdubs ... and with that ashaming drunk-audience shots by the end of the show .... I really hope some bonus footage from other gigs is included, specially South America ... but, as that is exactly what we all are hoping and it would be so exciting .... that's exactly what we won't be getting from QPL |
Jjeroen 06.04.2009 06:25 |
Hope they get the overdubs done in time... Sure Justin will have one HELL of a copy-paste job on that one! |

I'll be lining up to get it given it's the first show - there are bound to be mistakes - all very visible in the tv broadcast. however - 99,5 % of all live releases are brushed up to a degree... of course, the set list of this show is not very representative for what happened during the tour - but they do of course have the option of adding bonus tracks either from south america or their own screen feeds. knowing qp though, and with ROTC in mind, chanses are probably slim... :( I sincerely hope they release this as a stand alone dvd/blu-ray release as well - not just as a package, which is suggested at the link above. But I'm looking immensly forward to this (am I the only one?). Brian, Roger and Paul in (hopefully) high defintion? Bring it on! I'm sure it will look and sound amazing. David Mallet knows his stuff - and the sheer size of the audience makes this a special gig no matter what |

Jjeroen wrote: Hope they get the overdubs done in time... Sure Justin will have one HELL of a copy-paste job on that one! well, C-lebrity sound very good all of a sudden :) the backing vocals from the tv broadcast were painful :) link to my recollection though, apart from Say it's not true and Brian's solo in Hammer to fall, there were no major mistakes? correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I put on the tv broadcast. also - The Cosmos Rocks sound pretty decent once they editet out the false start :) link |

The €70.99 price was the most shocking thing! |

Video: yes triple vinyl: (if available) probably ...and if that release-date is correct, I might even pick them up in Kyiv if I can find them! :-) |

And here's another source (with a more realistic price! - around 54 euro): http://www.nlstore.nl/shop3/ShopExd.asp?Id=96570300&Level3=5099996457528 |

June 8th has been confirmed by Hannie from the dutch fanclub ("the release is expected"). She refers to the release as "Queen+Paul Rodgers live DVD and CD ‘Live at the Ukraine’ (2 CD’s + DVD)". |
