ok so lets say the rumors are true and QPR is no more . who would we like to see the boys go out on the road with? my choice would be our old mate jeff scott soto he is the only one who could do the songs justice and he knows most if not all of the back catalogue. anybody else?
I would like to see them record and tour with Brent Smith from 'Shinedown',have you heard their new album,'THE SOUND OF MADNESS',since Freddie left us,there has never been a more powerful rock singer, and he sings ballads like you wouldnt beleive......................
If/when Paul leaves, my vote is either have Brian and Roger take over lead vocals, or call it a career. Don't be one of those bands that becomes a parody of itself by touring every year with a different lead singer.

Brian and roger sharing lead vocals would be nice.

[/img] . It's one of the very few things I would have liked to see during the old Queen concerts.
If Brian and Roger do feel like they want to hit the road one more time, and if it is without Paul Rodgers...... who is going to be devoting time to Bad Company in 2009 and I would think 2010, it would be great to have the boys on the road with someone like Jeff Scott Soto, who clearly knows the Queen back catalogue. There could be far more adventurous setlists, to inlcude more of the early stuff and the later classics like Innudendo.
Queen + Freddie Mercury (Elvis Presley 25th Anniversary Concert).....wouldn't mind seeing that [/img]
I might contact Brian about this idea actually ... what do you think ?
The name QUEEN is just for the money ....+ PR means they had to somehow gave him credit... I guess in 2005/2006 they still could get away with this but ever since the TCR and the single(s) I'm NO longer blind!
All three of them have told us it's NOT Queen ....and they would like to try new music, but however
WITH the name QUEEN bigger than a elephant compared to a spider (+paul rodgers)
Sad .....
TCR ?... The cunthead's revenge ?
Clebrity ?... Isn't Paul Rogers a celebrity himself ?
We Believe ?... I don't think I do
Time To Shine ? ....I think it's just a cheap cash in ... not so shiny at all ....eh ?
If the collaboration with Paul comes to an end, I think they would do very well playing smaller venues, billed as Taylor-Mayed or something of the like. They could still sell out venues that hold 2000-3000 people in virtually all corners of the world, and they'd have the freedom to dig deeper into their back catalogue instead of having to play all the big hits for stadium audiences who only know the hits - similar to their solo tours, only that they're together this time. Win/win for the band and fans alike, I think.
i like this idea. i hate arena size venues even at the back of a city hall type venue you can see and feel the band. Brian and Roger would do well getting back to the fans that put them on the map in the first place.
I'd really love to see Smile having a proper gig full of their old stuff, maybe with Morgan Fisher on keyboards playing some stuff from Morgan - I'd love to hear Nova Solis live.
