Cheers,
No , Brian was against the idea of doing an acoustic-concert-tour OVER America ....from a hot air balloon
....(Paul's idea?)
too bad eh ....? pah !
Although Hollywood Records confirmed that as of late last year, a U.S. Tour was planned. There are no definite plans for touring as of yet for '09. But according to Galileo (the admin on the QueenOnline forum, who's an employee of QP), something is in the pipeline for Queen & Paul Rodgers this year...but it's under wraps at the moment.

I'm sorry, I meant that a U.S. tour was in the planning stages...it wasn't a go...just an idea.
The other day Brian May and Roger Taylor launched the WWRY (musical) tour in Manchester. They were asked if they would do more work with Paul Rodgers. Brian said "We don't know", Roger said "I hope so". I did not find this interview on the net myself but it was quoted by the leader of the Austrian FC who is very reliable.
If they do not know right now if there is ANY further collaboration with Paul Rodgers, it's safe to say that the chances for any touring this year are pretty small.
Well actually what they said was in response to a question about the big hits, they were discussing playing them live and Brian said "do we still play them" to Roger, who said, "dunno, not sure"
They were not talking about working with Paul. It was both interesting and a little sad at the same time, left me with the impression they were uncertain about what the future holds but nothing had been decided either way.
It would be good to see them in the U.S. or at least in South America again(yeah), for countries like Mexico, Colombia or Perú, who have waited so much to see them. In that way, they can get lots of plubicity by doing that (the 2nd conquest of S.A).

Hmm, the sound was there a couple of days ago, this link I took from QOL site.
Anyway, from memory they are talking about playing the big hits rather than specifically playing with Paul.
The rest is pretty well all about the WWRY show, apart from a bit when they talk about songs they liked and didn't like playing...however naturally they will not be drawn on what they didn't like!!! but you are left in no doubt there are a few!

Gosh, I did not realise that.
No-one has mentioned it earlier either ???..... poor you ! : (
It might help if you listen and read what other people might have for information.
I know it's hard for you to not be talking through your ass....but like I said earlier : think about it ....
