and I'll make another cd with favourite songs (lossless quality, of course)
I think, it's quite prohibited, but nothing could stop me
I will be pleased to hear your advices to me
So,
These songs will be definitely are:
I Go Crazy (#1)
Tear It Up (#2)
The last song will be surely
Too Much Love Will Kill You
Now,
I gonna add these songs (but I don't know the order yet):
Princess Of The Universe,
Love Is The Hero,
Need Your Loving Tonight,
Put Out The Fire,
Back Chat (probably #4),
Rock It,
You And I (#3)
And,
I don't know, which are very good (maybe you choose some of them and help me with the tracksNumbering):
White Queen Flick Of The Wrist Seaside Rendezvouz Spread Your Wings Dead On Time One Year Of Love Don't Try So Hard Heaven For Everyone My Life Had Been Saved (very good song - my mum's favourite song, by the way) She Makes Me
She likes classical music and he doesn't have internet, so It's all up to you - just help me to create an impressive CD (80-minutes)
There are a lot of songs that can hardly stand together, you know, it's not like The Rolling Stones and all that r'n'b
If you find it as law breaking, then, you maybe not answer, but I don't see the reason to make one more Queen-fan
And be sure, I will NOT trade this anyhow, anywhere
I don't see the problem in adding something more "progressive" like Was It All Worth It. Many metal and progressive rock songs actually have lots of classical influences.
If she likes classical music, then I suggest you make a compilation of progressive rock music. Start with the 70s Yes, Genesis, and Camel albums... and maybe even some Zappa.
The conncetion is bed,
Help with the order:
1 I Go Crazy
2 Tear It Up
3 I Was Born To Love You
4 The Millionaire Waltz
5 You And I
6 Put Out The Fire
7 Back Chat
8 Spread Your Wings
9 If You Can't Beat Them
10 In Only Seven Days
11 White Queen
12 Let Me Live
13 Princes Of The Universe
14 Love Is The Hero
15 Stone Cold Crazy
16 Dead On Time
17 My Life Has Benn Saved
18 Fun It
19 Rock It
20 Too Much Love Will Kill You
thanks
Love Of My Life is not in GH and not in GH2. The compilation you will make is for your girlfriend, and also she likes clasical music. Don't you think is a good idea to add it to the tracklist? Maybe the same with You take my breath away.
Other suggestions: My Fairy King and The March Of The Black Queen. I would take out I Go Crazy,Tear It Up, Back Chat and Fun It. Also I would choose the single B side version of My Life Has Been Saved, not the one in Made In Heaven.
1. It's Late (New England Edit)
2. Get Down Make Love
3. Action This Day
4. Delilah (Demo)
5. A Kind Of Magic (Original)
6. Mother Love
7. Dancer
8. Rain Must Fall
9. Man On The Prowl
10. Put Out The Fire
11. It's A Hard Life (12" Version)
12. The Kiss
13. March Of The Black Queen
14. Dead On Time
15. Scandal
16. Need Your Loving Tonight
17. Machines
There's nothing wrong in making a cd for your girlfriend. :))
She doesn't know much - or at all - the band you love so much...Your problem seems to be the doubt as to whether she'll like it or not. Well, I suppose that by introducing her to Queen, you want her to know some of the music you like the most, please her and hopefuly create a common interest among you both.
Depending on her knowledge about Queen's music, you could simply put some of your favorites and make the cd. Wouldn't be great to let her know what gets you moving in music? It's a way of communicating with her and showing her what you appreciate, what you value, what you like. Of showing part of what you are as of now.
So...let her know about it. It doesn't matter much whether she'll actually like it or not - she's probably, though it's not a 100% rule, not going to tell you the truth straightaway. :))
People in relationships try too hard to guess each other, and while some of that may be fun and stuff, it can become quite a problem.
So, instead of following the common wisdom which says that you should surprise her and get her exactly what she wants, why don't you simply show her, as a gift, part of what you value the most? I think it's much more touching and moving...
Maybe she won't become a Queen fan, but who knows, maybe she becomes your fan, think about it.
How long have you guys been hanging out together considering the fact that she doesn't even know some Queen songs by heart, even if unwillingly? ;-)))
