Keeping in mind that the band members themselves have very limited to no control over the website itself, it's probably because TCR tour and promotion has been finished for quite some time now. And maybe their traffic was dropping as a result of the main page staying looking virtually the same throughout 2008 with some minor updates here and there.
Also, with the WWRY Musical having prominence on the main page again, I suspect this has to due with the upcoming touring production in the UK, so this would make sense in terms of timing.
Let's not forget the outrage and uproar that happened on QOL when the start page was changed from proper Queen to Q+PR in order to draw attention to their most current project.
Now that it has been reverted to proper Queen, another uproar is happening.

With Queen fans, it seems you just can't win...
If only they'd listened to John Deacon....."If You Can't Beat Them, Join Them" :-P
I wasn't trying to cause an uproar, I like the new setup. It just seemed odd that the Q+PR page was pushed almost last on the main page. Even though they may not be touring at the moment Q+PR is still the current project as far as we know.

I did not mean you, sorry - I meant the QOL folks who have already started some nice bickering about the home page change and the PR link disappearance ;-)
I think that the current project is now the WWRY UK Tour, although bad weather forced them to postpone the public launch to the end of this month.
I wish the WWRY tour would come to the U.S. A part of me still has a little bit of hope that the Comsos Rocks tour would come to the U.S. but I think that dream is fading and fading fast. My wife and I just bought tickets to see Fleetwood Mac in May and everytime I look at the tickets I think to myself "I wish these were Queen tickets" Don't get me wrong I love Fleetwood Mac but not as much as Queen or Queen + Paul Rodgers.

It just wasn't meant to be ....
Who the heck is Paul Rodgers anyway ....he's the guy that's been into the music scene with a couple
of so-so bands and albums ... wich never did add a lot for music-history .....
It's only for Brian and Roger right ? that IS what the people really want see live ...isn't it ?
That's right ... it is ! But it doesn't matter anymore , fuck it - it's over ! if it wasn't already back in september ...
