it seems imposible but?.do you think queen or queen productions recorded every live queen and queen+paul concert on audio.in this age of easy recording(bootleg or official).maybe just maybe along the line there is a master tape of every queen live concert.now that's a big torrent lol.and i asked a few months ago about the cameras that were used at each concert.again maybe just maybe someone recorded the video from them.as we have seen from this tour the cameras projecting to the big screens behind roger, maybe someone recorded the concerts.now that would make the ultimate box set or dvd.every queen concert on audio and dvd.i know it's just a dream, but what the hell,if it were true.shit.and also the official release of this tour.what about queen productions getting together with the best multicam videos from this tour to make a .queen+paul rodgers final stand?.sort of..... this is what you wanted this is what you gona get ...thing(no pun intended).as i am sure we are all aware the tensions within the band are to say the least, fraught.so maybe this is the final tour.myself on a personal note would love to see some snippets from edinburgh 82 first night and cosmos rocking secc 2008.but as my wife said...not more frigging queen downloads lol.anyway, what do you think.is there a complete queen catalouge of live recordings and is there a complete queen+paul rodgers video collection.and please dont complain about my spelling.i am doing this after slightly more than half a bottle of glenmorange lol lol lol. |

No offense, but do the words 'paragraph break' mean anything to you? |

No, they have not recorded all the concerts. No way. There is actually not so many concert which is proffesionale multi track recorded with Queen. But I guess they did make pro-recordings from some shows of each tour, but can't confirm 100% true. Queen + Paul Rogers have proffesionale recorded most of their shows. Not so sure about all the US dates, and not sure about that all are multi track recorded. You can buy downloads from www.queenonline.com, but you all know this, don't you? Don't count with more shows with Paul Rodgers. The album didn't do it so well, even with sold out shows. So there will probably be NO US tour. Also bad reviews of the album around the world, have made it a bit diffecult to continue, I think. Belive me, just wait and see... There is no wrong with the guys, it's just a 'hard business. They might come back, but it will take a time I think. |

I've read as many bad reviews of the album as good reviews. If bad reviews had made it difficult to continue, Queen had quit in 1978 ... or even before |

I believe Brian once confirmed that every gig from '74 onwards was recorded from the soundboard. Typically with QPL, this is now denied and according to Brian soundboard recordings are rubbish anyway, so you wouldn't to hear them! Funny... all the bootleg soundboard recordings of people like Zeppelin and Hendrix sound fucking amazing. |

Correct, I remember well those days, but their album sold a lot. 'Cosmos Rocks' don't, so things are not so easy. Also I don't think Brian & Roger will let the band QUEEN be remember as Queen + Paul Rodgers. I think they will now put their energy in the name & band QUEEN. But, this is not so much to write about. I just don't think they will tour again with Paul Rodgers. Nothing wrong with Paul. It's just the way I feel it. |

I don't know another solist would be OK with them - Paul is perfectly good for them They both can't lead a concert (can't hold a line (with listener)) - it was amasingly boring when came section without Paul - and when he came back it again became rock-concert. I think, Paul have no right to leave them |

"as i am sure we are all aware the tensions within the band are to say the least, fraught" I'm sure you've got lots of examples to support that comment so how about sharing them with us. |

My favorite part of the Chile Concert DVD was when it was just Bri and Rog, it was great to here them sing. With Paul was great too, but I though Bri and Rog were far from boring... |

Brian & Roger will not tour alone. I just mean since the negitive reviews the 'Cosmos Rocks' have got, I don't think they will tour in USA, Japan etc.. in 2009. Wait and see, It will NOT hapepn. It's just the way the Rock'n Roll Business is. They might come back, but not in 2009. [/img] |

I got a hanfull minidisc from a (proffesionalle) rockband, to convert onto cdr's for a time ago. It was soundboard recording, but that means 'master out' recording. Since no audience line (seperate mic) go true the soundboard, you only catch the audienc true the bands microphone on the stage. Same as some of the bootlegs. Huston 77, Earls Court 77, I think, some of the Hammersmith 79 sources.... If Queen soundboard recorded most of their shows in the 70ies, don't belive they will released those tapes. I belive they did taped the soundboard, but just to listen for themself. To make proffesionale live recordings, you need a moblie recorder, which in many cases will be a multi track recorder. Here you put up seperate microphones for the audience, and taped the bands instruments and microphones on seperate tracks. At least for the most. Depends on how many tracks the recorder have. To make a pro-live recording, you need to make a plane for the sound setup on the stage. Not a problem, but I don't think Queen did this on all the shows in the mention periode. Would have been great, but it's a bit expencive to have proffesionale recording personal on all the shows. I could write more about this, but I just want to tell that a (pure) soundboard LIVE recording, is different than a recording done on a mobile recorder. A soundboard /sound mixer is NOT a recorder. It's just the place where the sound is ballansed etc,, before it goes out to the loadspeakers. (Easy told). Cheers.... |

I was glad that they were alone on stage, at the beginning... but after a while, well, you just could tell the difference in the singing quality between them and Paul. Their voices (particularly Roger's, in a moment) didn't sound that well. So it was actually a relieve when Paul came back. That doesn't mean I thought they were boring, it's just that they weren't singing that well!. Maybe it was just that night, though... Now, as far as I'm concerned, any good singer could do that, not just Paul. Indeed, I would prefer George Michael, I just like him better. I actually didn't even know who he was before I did some research before the concert. I didn't know there had been a band called Free, Bad Company rang a bell... Actually I didn't know who Brian May and Roger Taylor were before I became a Queen fan, which was just some months ago. But I certainly knew who Queen were... By the way, I didn't know there was a DVD of their concert here. |
