geeee i was posting the same news! :D
it should not be just rumours, because the presenter himself confirmed Brian+Roger's presence! (Paul Rodgers not included)
no paul rodgers?
in your opinion, what will brian + roger play?? many doubts; maybe the new songs or maybe queen italian hits like Radio ga ga, I want to break free, We will rock you and we are the champions..
in my opinion, radio ga ga.. :P
for the people that don't know what is it about, it's the famous Music Festival at the end of February.
Queen were there with Freddie in 1984 to promote Radio Gaga.
and consider that there's a huge live orchestra at the Music festival ;) plenty of musicians...

when they writhe QUEEN i think they mean PR i s band member already so they said QUEEN...
so i think Queen and Paul Rodgers will perform,
in such case, they would have toured as Queen, not Queen+Paul Rodgers; and so The Cosmos Rocks album would be by Queen, not QPR.
I think the brand "Queen" actually comprises Brian and Roger, not Paul.
That said, I wish everything they do in the future includes Paul, as I like QPR and hope to see more from them
ET here in the States ran a segment a few months ago about Queen and their upcoming "The Cosmos Rocks" album. They never mentioned Queen + Paul Rodgers, they just mentioned Queen.

Wow.
You know if it's not a mere oversight, then there's more to it than your simple surmising.
There would be a contractual agreement as to billing. If Paul Rodgers is to appear, he would get billing.
AFAIK, in this particular instance it was clearly stated that Paul would not be there.
However, the agreement has not been signed yet; so, despite the announcements in the media in the last three days, their presence still remains UNconfirmed.

Well, ET is made by morons and watched by morons.
I'm sure it is. I don't watch the show myself, I was channel surfing when I noticed the segment.
I don't need to know what Britney, Paris and Lindsey are doing. Who the phuck cares.

Official announcement from the Italian Queen Fan Club: Queen will NOT appear at the Sanremo festival next month.
Despite all the schedule-juggling efforts, it eventually proved NOT possible to make a live performance happen at
such short notice (miming was out of the question right from the start).
Reasons given: contacts were only taken earlier this month, with BHM and RMT already busy preparing the WWRY touring production, Spike due to spend a few weeks in the USA, Paul to attend business in Canada for some time, and several tech crew key members on well-deserved leave.
Here in Brazil, many headlines simply mentioned Queen was coming. The explanation about Paul Rodgers always came somewhere in the middle of the report. But some reports didn't actually mention the importance of adding "+ Paul Rodgers" to the band's name, they simply said Queen would play at Via Funchal and HSBC Arena in November'08 with Paul as the lead singer (not explaining that he isn't part of Queen).
(I posted this just to complement what some people wrote about the press considering PR as part of "Queen").
