Yesterday, I found a very interesting information on a website which specializes on Queen recordings - it is stated that there exists an early Freddie recording from 1965: http://qliverecordings.tripod.com/earlyrec.html Does someone of you know about this? Is there any further information on it? Thank you in advance! |

It's a rumour mentioned some years ago that Freddie is seen on some very short amateur video (without sound, music, performance etc) when he was still in school - not confirmed. Don't know why I add this info there :P |

Yes, this recording exists. It's a very young Freddie singing a song called Hangman Studio Version. The lyrics go something like: We got the whole house Hanging studio version We got the whole world Hanging studio version We got the Cosmos hanging studio version and then there's a guitar solo. |

By the way, I heard a similar story/rumour too - that there is an early video of Freddie - I even have a photograph on my page which I have found years ago on Queenzone: http://www.mercury-and-queen.com/india.htm - it's the last picture, but maybe it is rather from India... |

Recordings of the Hectics do exist but they were too expensive for my pocket. |

Yes, the silent video was on Ebay a couple of years ago. QP bought it eventually. Which means, it will probably decay somewhere far away in the archives. |

There is always some knob trying to outknob the rest of the predicatable unfunny knobs. You win |

Rick, do you have any information about that Silent Freddie Video ? is it from an old show ? And if it's silent how could people claim that Freddie was singing Hangman ? |

It shows him in the 1960s. I don't know why I initially posted that. I guess I totally missed the point! |

Hello everybody & privet Dasha! I also remeber this Freddie 8mm film sold at eBay - in lot's description there was the same picture as the last one on your web page here: link. I think it is Freddie at his London student years. |

Privet Seven_Seas_Of_Rhye II :)! Thank you for this information! Yes, maybe it is most likely from his time as student in London - even if there is an Indian looking guy near to him |
