Before I upload Sydney '85 recording I will share with you somethink else. This is Masterport "Final Day" release with rehearsals for the 'Back To The Light Tour. This stuff was recorded probably between autumn/ winter 1992 or early 1993 and they come from some private Cozy Powell tapes leaked after his death if I remember well. I got this Masterport copy some years ago recorded like a 2 audio cdr's but don't know why this files looks lossy so beware - maybe Masterport used lossy source or this bootleg was converted to lossy format and then to cdr's. I know that there is also bit longer copy of this rehearsals but personally don't have a chance to get it. So my suggestion is don't share this stuff with anyone and do not convert to another format even lossy because they are enough blasted by this compression. If someone have this on lossless format please share with us. Lineage: mic near monitors > Cozy Powell's own tapes > ? > Masterport "Final Day" > ? > cdr's > Flac files Quality: A- Total time: 127min. cd1 1. Intro The Dark 2. Back To The Light 3. Love Token 4. Hammer To Fall 5. Let Me Out 6. Driven By You 7. '39 / Let Your Heart Rules Your Head 8. Too Much Love Will Kill You 9. Since You've Been Gone 10. Guitar Solo 11. Resurrection 12. Thanks for uploading this. I was fortunate enought to see Cozy perform with Brian at The Boston Gardens in '93. I did record the show with a Handheld walkman recorder and a Tie clip stereo Microphone. My cassette player is broken. I'm going to try to fix it this weekend so I can upload the show. If I can't fix the cassette deck, I'll have to buy another one. Hopefully I'll have the show uploaded soon. |

Thanks for sharing these. Had the first disc for a loooong time, but never heard the full thing. Quite interesting. How I wish Queen stuff like this would be available - how awesome would it be to hear QPR rehearsing for 2 hours? |

I'm sure in 100% that this above stuff are lossy - any audio editor will show frequency cuted ~15kHz. |

THANKS SO MUCH![/img] I have a question. I'm a fan of Queen Music, but not familiar with the inner workings of the band so please forgive my being Naive. Were these recordings of Cozys because Queen was practicing for a new Tour in 1992? I guess I'm just not familiar with who Cozy Powel is and why he recorded these rehersals? Any background info would REALLY BE APPRECIATED. Roger |
