I don't know if this is the correct place to post or not, as I don't post often, but I figured what the hell. I am very soon going to have to part with my massive Queen collection, and I figure eBay would be the route to go. I hate to get rid of any of this stuff, believe me, but it's time...and I'm not just going to give this stuff away.
I wanted to know what you think of this idea: I wanted to sell everything chronologically in special lots. For instance, my "Queen" (1973) lot would consist of:
Queen - US Stock copy
Queen - Canadian stock copy
Queen - Original white label promo with sticker and inner info sheet
Queen - Printed by EMI Greece
Queen - Venezuelan issue
Queen - Mexican issue
Keep Yourself Alive - US promo
Liar - US promo
So I'd sell this as one lot...giving more information of course. Do you think this is a good idea or a waste of my time...either way my entire collection needs to go soon, including all the bootlegs, promos, test pressings, rare sleeves, etc. I'll also probably be getting rid of all of my original CD bootlegs...original silvers only, no copies.
Please let me know what you all think. Thanks!
If anyone is interested in seeing a complete list of the records in my collection, just let me know. I'd rather sell to those who I know are Queen fans and who I know will treat my collection properly.
