"Ride The Wild Wind" was played on Polish public radio in 1991. It climbed to no.14 on chart a few weeks before Freddie's death and went even higher (namely to no.1) after it. A few years later the same station was trying to promote "Mother Love". The song debuted at no.29, but dropped from the chart quite unluckily the following week. I remember the presenter being very disappointed:(
The track "Yeah" from the Made In Heaven album was played today on Dutch radio but before i got a chance to turn the volume up it was already finished. Beautiful track, deserves more air time.

Ride The Wild Wind just started playing here on Arrow Classic Rock in Holland.
Never heard that song on the radio before.
So I was wondering what Queen-songs have you all heard on the radio that aren't your typical Greatest Hits.
I've heard Earth, Going Back and Hangman(live) somewhere in the mid 90s. But that was part of a Queen program, so that's no surprise.
ciao
Scandal (didn't make GH II or III, nor did it chart here)
Need Your Loving Tonight (Not rarely played, but it wasn't on any greatest hits here)
Calling All Girls (Very popular in the 90s; specially with requests)
Body Language (Very popular in the 90s; also with a lot of requests)
Keep Yourself Alive (Yeah, it was on the original US greatest hits, but it wasn't a big hit everywhere, though here in New England it was, so I guess it doesn't count, but it's played more than a lot of Queen songs)
Stone Cold Crazy (Played quite a few times)
Thank God It's Christmas (common on some Boston radio station in winter time)
It's Late
Tie Your Mother Down
Get Down Make Love
They also have like a Queen mini mini marathon on our local classic radio station, where they play like 4 - 6 songs, with commentary and info on the song before it's played. They also refer to Queen as 'Freddie Mercury & The Boys' ... I remember when they first started that, they played One Vision, Hammer To Fall, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, and Under Pressure.
I remember listening to TGIC a looooooooong time ago - 1984 or something. They might have played some obscure songs of The Works too because of Rock in Rio.
My childhood rock station used to have this thing called the "deep cut classic" a few times a day, and they played Liar one time... long before I had bought the album.
TGIC. Heard it on a movie theatre's radio system, before a movie was about to start, back in Nov. 2002. I think they cut it off before the end though if I remember correctly :-/
Any Queen song would be a rarity on Indian radio. I've only heard "I Want To Break Free" once. It was in 2007. I literally dropped from the side of my bed in excitement and shock. Others have told me they've heard WATC, YMBF and WWRY. Guess I wasn't lucky enough to tune in when they were played. :)
Ooops... I forgot one. March of the Black Queen, in one AM radio that just played rock around... 77 I guess because I already knew Queen then. I even taped it.
An FM station in my city (2004-5) used to play Indian film music through out the day and Wetsern rock muisc all through the night. The night time music was uninterrupted - no commercials or host. Just one song followed by the next. A lot of times you'd hear a song for the first time, and woudn't know the title or the artist. You'd just try to remember the lyrics and google it the next day.
Ofcourse I never had to google the queen songs they played. Mirale, AKOM, Radio Gaga would be played fequently enough. But it gave me a jolt when they played Mad The Swine.

Wow, now THAT's a shocker. I doubt I'll ever hear anything that rare in Kolkata. Most of the time they play generic Bryan Adams, Sting, Phil Collins type of music.
Not a radio rarity but many years ago I saw a show in Mexican TV where the contestants had to guess the song played to them in the background. There was one category dedicated to Queen.
The contestants only guessed one or two tracks out of five. I was shocked to hear bits of Dragon Attack and Keep Passing the Open Windows in the TV. The same TV station (second largest in the country) used to play bits of Queen songs as part of their TV ads promoting upcoming programs. There was a time when I heard the intro to Who Needs You and I Can't Live With You regularly while watching soccer or basketball on the TV.
