I used 2 sources to create the definitive version of the classic second night in New York '78:
the first and The Main source is in B+ quality (But annoying incomplete:Cuts between tracks, and almost every track is slightly cut from the begining)
All tracks in my mix are from this better sounding recording (exept 'You're My Best Friend' because it sounds better on second source.)
Lineage: AUD > Master > 1st Gen Cassette > WAV > CDR
I got it from queenzone
WWRY(Fast) is from Sir GH share (same sourse as above)
also got it from queenzone
the Second source is in B quality (complete, exept fade out after Keep Yourself Alive).I Used this recording to repair ALL cuts in the main better sounding source.
The only unrepaired place is after 'Keep Yourself Alive' because it has cut in both recordings.
I got the Second source from QueenHub unfortynately without lineage
But according link i hope lineage should be: AUD > Master Cassette > Standalone CDR (1)
(transfer: Panasonic handheld cassette recorder > Denon cassette deck > Harman Kardon burner)
My actions:
1st step : Converted to WAV( Trader's Little Helper),Moved to Sound Forge and used crossfading function(normal or fast in).
2nd step: Converted to Flac(8) ( Trader's Little Helper)
The result is much more enjoyable listening.
