Just back from Velez Sarsfield stadium... all I can say is that it WAS THE BEST SHOW OF MY LIFE... The set list was pretty the same as the last one in chile, but they played UNDER PRESSURE!!, voodoo was dropped out and las palabras de amor was played too... My god, The crowd singed along each song (well maybe not in seagull, is not much popular here) and the band was REALLY in good shape, I really enjoyed a lot this show...it's a dream that came true... I know that later there will be more decent reviews, now i'm going to sleep happier than ever... |

Well, having seen 21 Queen concers between 2005 and 2008... this was truly the best one for me. Audience was amazing. I was able to get on the fence a bit on the corner of the b stage (even when I had a seated ticket, had to do some jumpings and pretend I did not talk in spanish!) . LOTS of pushes, lots of elbows on my back, still, the best show. It was as exciting as the first one, but with a perfect performance and crowd. If that wasn't perfect enough, for the encore, the entire band except Brian is dressed up with the Argentinian shirts we gave them as gifts prior to the show. Brian was wearing a different one, with Maradona on it's back, which was a gift from another friend, so we were both pleased. I'm still shocked. Dramatic, suffered, stressfull, emotive show. Maybe this will never happen again, who knows. But the band really deserved a night like this. |

The set list was pretty much the same as Santiago, they added UP and Las Palabras was there too,the crowd was really mad, crazy people like a football match.Excellent version of Las Palabras during the soundcheck(as well as UP)I really enjoy soundchecks.A special moment was of course during Love of my Life,Brian spoke a lot in spanish and they wore Argentina's jerseys at the end of the show. And it was not a question of Paul haters of not,it was very clear that the majority of the people went to see Brian and Roger(the greatest ovation was for Brian)very few people knew the lyrics of TCR and hardly anyone sang Paul songs,he's not very popular in Argentina you know, but the crowd set into fire with the oldies, anyway the show was more than EXCELLENT. |

Hi guys, I'll try to post the setlist, probably not the exact order (not sure about Las Palabras and Feel Like Makin') but pretty sure I'm not missing any song. My thoughts on the show: I was able to see them back in 2005, and also to listen to some recordings from this tour and I must say that it was truly a great show, probably the best so far. The crowd was awesome, sometimes you couldn't even hear them play. We sang along almost every song. Brian really nailed it with Las Palabras and didn't miss a note in the whole show, and Roger was in great shape in AKOM and IILWMC. Backing vocals were great too. Brian forgot the lyrics in '39 and Paul in Radio GaGa but we stood up for them. Before Under Pressure Brian said they meant it as a message of peace between his people and us. The message was well taken and I think I can say that the message is well taken and that everything can be cool between English and Argentine. Last but not least, we were all very happy with Paul, he was really great, specially in We Are The Champions (he really got it right in every sense). Cheers everybody. Setlist: 00 - Intro tape 01 - Hammer To Fall 02 - Tie Your Mother Down 03 - Fat Bottomed Girls 04 - Another One Bites The Dust 05 - I Want It All 06 - I Want To Break Free 07 - C-lebrity 08 - Surfs Up...Schools Out 09 - Seagull 10 - Love Of My Life 11 - '39 12 - Bass solo 13 - Drum Solo 14 - I'm In Love With My Car 15 - A Kind Of Magic 16 - Las Palabras de Amor 17 - Say It's Not True 18 - Feel Like Makin' Love 19 - We Believe 20 - Guitar Solo 21 - Bijou 22 - Last Horizon 23 - Under Pressure 24 - Radio GaGa 25 - Crazy Little Thing Called Love 26 - The Show Must Go On 27 - Bohemian Rhapsody 28 - Cosmos Rockin' 29 - All Right Now 30 - We Will Rock You 31 - We Are The Champions 32 - God Save The Queen |

The concert was really amazing. I couldn't believe that Roger and Brian were so close to me!!! Some songs were really great: A kind of magic, Under presurre (sung by Roger and Brian), Bijou, etc. I have 22 years and in 1981 I wasn't born yet. A dream can true. |

Yet another person who spent the better part of three years saying nothing but nasty things about Q+PR goes and sees them live and realizes that Q+PR was not a bad thing at all. That in fact it's a wonderful reminder of the power of this music. A moving experience that's well worth the effort to go see. This will be even more apparent many years from now when it has long been over and the boys are no longer with us. I actually feel sorry for the haters who use any excuse not to go see a gig. Once in a lifetime sort of thing. I'm sure glad I went. |
L-R-TIGER1994 22.11.2008 19:51 |
Don't know if Q+PR is good or bad is up to anyone I think like a fan at the door said before the show:"Well we are here for the genious Brian and Roger like many more do,I don't think there would be many Bad Company's fans over here" |
Mr. Scully 23.11.2008 04:59 |
There was a crowd of 55000 enthusiastic fans there and still nobody posted a setlist (a correct one, I mean). [edit] It seems like juan1921's setlist is correct after all. Different to all versions I've come across on the internet today but correct (most other setlists are with Bad Company, no FLML, different position of UP in the setlist etc.) |

Wow....all you beautiful people in Argentina! Seems like all of You really ROCKED that night - every single one of you!! Greeting from Scandinavia!! |
Lisser 23.11.2008 20:28 |
Well done Argentina!!! Anyone have some video on youtube? I'd love to see the crowd!!! |
L-R-TIGER1994 23.11.2008 22:44 |
Radio Gaga and We Will Rock You were the highlights, thousands clapping shouting screaming, amazing!but the cameras from Canal 13 only took the front part just near the stage while at the back there were the most enthusiastic fans(it was like a football match)it was a little bit dark so I guess there are no good shots unfortunately. |
Lisser 23.11.2008 23:43 |
Where are you all viewing the concert from? What I downloaded only takes me through Seagull. What happened to the sound also in UP?? |
L-R-TIGER1994 23.11.2008 23:55 |
I was at the show and also saw shots from TV. |
Wilki Amieva 24.11.2008 07:46 |
45.000 at most. And here's the setlist. |

I am so happy for Argentinians! They seemed to be the best audience of all! Like some previous posters I would also like to send greeting from Russia! |

If anyone wants to see my pics/videos from Q+PR in Argentina, they're in this public album: link password: redspecial. Anyone can add stuff to the album, but please don't add pics that weren't taken in Argentina, since this album is just for that. Thanks :) |
Marcelo_argentina 26.11.2008 20:58 |
April...you are so sweet..thanks a lot..your greetings are well received! Cheers! |

When I watch the videos from Buenos Aires on YouTube I think that the fans from Argentina must be the most devoted fans in the whole world. Incredible scenes in front of the hotel, at the airport, during the concert. If they tour again we may well owe it to the crowd from Buenos Aires. |
