I already have seen the remastered live at hyde park video. The one from the dvd. I was wondering if there is any others where the quality is better? In the video of the making of '39 they show pieces of it at hyde park and the quality is better than anything else I've seen. That is just an example.
that is spectacular! too bad it's only 56 seconds long. I guess someone has the rest of it. unfortunately the best available copy of the whole show is more like a C plus.
I don't know about a widescreen version... but snow producciones takes a lot of 4:3 stuff and makes it 16:9. Some of the stuff is ok. A lot of it has nice audio but doesn't use the best available video sources. And some people don't like the widescreen because he has to crop the top and bottom to make it fit. That said this little snippet on you tube is excellent. It's too bad that's not the quality of the versions of the whole show that circulates. Look for a copy of the one mentioned in the url above. That's considered as good as it gets... not that that is very good. It's worth having because it's one of only three (mostly) complete shows circulating on video that were recorded prior to 77.
The TTD link above is for a dead torrent... but the discussion is worth reading. It's considered the best available version. The quality isn't an A or a B. But the show is REALLY worth having. Here's a screenshot of the menu.
