Live TV Broadcast from Argentina??
| brians wig 21.11.2008 13:08 |
A friend in Argentina seems to think they are showing the concert live. Can anyone record - he only has a mono VHS? |
| brians wig 21.11.2008 13:35 |
Latest news: the concert shall be broadcasting live at internet at www.canaltrece.com.ar 21.30 hs argentina |
| Jjeroen 21.11.2008 14:05 |
Oh?! Argentina as well...! I'm amazed! I don't speak spanish; but if it is indeed a LIVE broadcast and not just a broadcast of Kharkiv, that's good news. :-) |
| Brianmay1975 21.11.2008 14:12 |
First question: Umm, will it be broadcasted in the main video window? The one on the left where right now are show adverts for some programmes and for the concert as well? Or will it be broadcasted on the page called PRODUCCIONES WEB? I don't speak Spanish and I wanna make sure I understand where to watch it? If it's broadcasted on some other page, can you please tell me the name of the page or the section of the website where I will be able watch the show? Second question: I want to record the show, if I will be able to watch it (internet conection isssues and so on...). I use Mozilla Firefox and I think I might use the Download Helper (dwlhelper) add-on that I use for downloading Youtube videos. I'm not sure if it will work. So I would like to ask for some advice. Does anybody know a better way to record live internet videos? Another program, maybe? Thanks in advance! |
| Marcos Napier 21.11.2008 17:22 |
First question: yes it will be broadcasted in that main window, unless it's a very special event and it will have its own page (which is not advertised so far, so I think it won't be the case). The "producciones web" seems to be something like a video channel where one sends their videos to be shown in that part of the site. Second: here the link seems to be a windows media link (quite good image and fast so far...), if you can get the direct link to the broadcast of the actual tv (which probably will be the same of the show), you just need to use that link as the source to record. I don't know what softwares can be used but there are some that can grab specifically WMP broadcasts I think, although they aren't free if I can remember well. Youtube are FLV (Flash) files, therefore I'm not sure if these things that save these files can save the WMP files too. |
| scottmax 21.11.2008 17:26 |
Well i'm watching now and the picture quality seems spot on, oh well, it'll probably go off when they come on stage!! |
| scottmax 21.11.2008 17:32 |
And its just gone off........... |
| Bradley 21.11.2008 17:55 |
Its going ON air and OFF air every now and then. |
| Wiley 21.11.2008 18:37 |
I'm only getting a black screen with a sign on the upper right corner that says "Exclusivo" (exclusive). Is this what somebody meant with "it goes off"? Is that what the feed is showing right now? Or am I having problems running the player? |
| cozy_ak 21.11.2008 18:39 |
I see the same thing mate: Black screen with an "Exclusivo" on the right corner... |
| Fenderek 21.11.2008 18:39 |
I got the same... It was ON before, you could see people gathering, but recently it just gone OFF... Hopefully it'll be back- it's pretty much the time... Could this have to do with the music they play before the gig and the copyright? |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 18:42 |

| scottmax 21.11.2008 18:45 |
I'm sat here like a fuckin numpty. had loads of ads before but now its totally gone off |
| Fenderek 21.11.2008 18:46 |
Can any Argentinians confirm it is ON? On Brian's page it said "It was advertised in an argentinian newspaper -however, not known if it can be seen in other countries. It starts at 21:30 local time, which is 23:30 UTC (23:30 GMT)" So... could someone confirm? |
| bulsara76 21.11.2008 18:47 |
Perhaps it will start when the band come to the stage |
| e-man 21.11.2008 18:49 |
can anyone give me a link?? the window on the link I already have is showing the same commercials over and over, and has been for the past few hours |
| david (galashiels) 21.11.2008 18:51 |
wow this is exciting.michael jackson in a hijab with no lighting.fantastic. |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 18:54 |
All the links of the site now go to the same blank screen feed - can only wait and see if they fix it now. Wonder if the feed only works with certain country ip addresses? We need someone local to confirm if they see the same thing. |
| Fenderek 21.11.2008 18:54 |
They can't be running late 20 minutes, can they??? |
| david (galashiels) 21.11.2008 18:55 |
shit night.even limewire pro wont connect. |
| A Word In Your Ear 21.11.2008 19:00 |
An experiment, to see how many HITS they get, for people to watch a blank screen with exclusivo in the top right hand corner. |
| david (galashiels) 21.11.2008 19:01 |

So how many Queenzones do we have watching at the moment? 10 or less? Feed holding up well - pleased that my recording seems to be working well :-) |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 19:27 |
Someone seems to be arsing around with the sound mix - problem with Paul's audio feed |
| Hutchence 21.11.2008 19:30 |
yeah, something happened with the sound...but, nice show so far. pity there aren't more crowd shots... |
| Pim Derks 21.11.2008 19:33 |
Thought it was my pc...yeah,the sound is back! |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 19:35 |
Sound fixed for the time being - will we get any new songs on the list tonight? Any ideas? |
| Hutchence 21.11.2008 19:40 |

It's off again! Damn, I would really love to listen to Love Of My Life and '39 with all the "crazy" Argentinians singing along!! |
| A Word In Your Ear 21.11.2008 19:57 |
When Brian told the Argentinians to back off, someone must have got the titty lip on & pulled out the plug!!!!! lol. |

| scottmax 21.11.2008 20:04 |
who put the black curtain over the camera? |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:06 |
Appears to be getting stuck at the connecting stage - not enough connections / bandwidth from the TV site side probably. When are people going to get on top of streaming video correctly on TV sites? Very frustratung. The guys did seem to be having a really good time of it. |
| A Word In Your Ear 21.11.2008 20:07 |
Just in, news release, Argentina gig to be released on official DVD. (soundboard talk. "for fucks sake, Trip, pull the plug quick!!!!" ) lol!!! |
| scottmax 21.11.2008 20:08 |
i have adverts? |
| Rich Tea 21.11.2008 20:12 |
Looks like its gone but blo ody hell were they on fire or what? I'm a little bit older than most so I guess Paul and free or Bad Co actually mean something to me but don't you think Paul looks to be enjoying himself more than ever right now? Wishing thery gert the link back up :o( |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:12 |
I'm back to the bloody adverts - have you seem some of the programmes on this channel? My god it makes ITV look like intelligent TV! What is this half time - Argentina 1 QPR 0 |
| Fenderek 21.11.2008 20:13 |
They were on fire indeed- it was better than Birmingham and London (two gigs I've seen live) put together... Incredible... They should seriously record it and release it on DVD. 20 times better than Kharkov... even the stale setlist didn't bother me... |
| Rich Tea 21.11.2008 20:17 |
I went to Liverpool which was fantastic but I also went to Manchester and that was at another level!! Come on Argentina get this link back up!!!! Please!!!! |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:18 |
Fenderek wrote: They were on fire indeed- it was better than Birmingham and London (two gigs I've seen live) put together... Incredible... I was at Liverpool - wish I'd had the chance to see a few more - for the sake of the US I hope they get a chance to havethem tour. Hoping for a real good DVD release at some point - tonight was shaping up really good - only hope they continue to record and tour. |
| Rich Tea 21.11.2008 20:19 |
Maybe just too many people realised just what was happening QPR On Fire!! I pray this is the DVD release? |
| scottmax 21.11.2008 20:20 |
by the time the link comes back up i'm sure they'll be back in their hotels while we're treated to 3rd division football highlights! |
| A Word In Your Ear 21.11.2008 20:21 |
I went to 10 out of the 11 UK gigs, got 'em all on audio, anyone want to trade? please PM me :-) |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:21 |
Dig those ads makes the X-factor seem normal! Is it just me but the programmes remind me of some of the old scenes from the Fast Show - All we need now is Paul Whitehouse coming on! |
| A Word In Your Ear 21.11.2008 20:24 |
1 hour 22mins into the gig, should be now about at the guitar solo, me thinks :-( |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:25 |
Only wish I could have found both the time and money to follow the tour. Just too many commitments. They should push the boat out and release a bumper DVD collection for the die hard fans of all of the recordings from the current tour - only wish. |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:29 |
Looks like we've lost the feed [/img] [/img] Hope they totally rocked the place! Cool to see them back in South America. Hope I look this good in my 60s. |
| scottmax 21.11.2008 20:30 |
bloody useless |
| Hitman1965 21.11.2008 20:39 |
It was good to see the band in top form - shame we didn't get the whole gig :-( Hopefully they'll either repeat or someone local has a copy of the complete show. |
| bulsara76 21.11.2008 20:58 |
What a climax there, they were totally on fire... the crow singing along... |
| SCOM 21.11.2008 22:19 |
the show was amazing. the highlight was under pressure[/img] |
| Pierre 22.11.2008 03:36 |
Jesus !! WOW Just listening to a part of the webcast & QP MUST make a DVD of this !! What a crowd !! Its not getting better than this ! Make it to a DVD ! |

A Word In Your Ear wrote: Just in, news release, Argentina gig to be released on official DVD. (soundboard talk. "for fucks sake, Trip, pull the plug quick!!!!" ) lol!!! Don't mess about mate. Is that true or just speculation? Shouldn't you be at work tonight? [/img] |
| Vali 22.11.2008 05:30 |
I've always believed they should release Argentina instead of the massive/cold/uninspired Kharkov.... by the way, Under Pressure played ... maybe one of the songs I was expecting the most in the european leg of the tour .... lucky argentinos !! me alegro por ustedeeees !! Alex, wake up !! it's time for an extensive review of the gig !! eh eh ... Under Pressure instead of Voodoo, uh? not bad for you, mate .. not bad ... I see [/img] |
| e-man 22.11.2008 06:16 |
well, it was filmed......a dvd would be amazing. so much more representative of the tour |
| Fenderek 22.11.2008 08:04 |
I just wanna say kudos to Argentinian. Brilliant crowd- after what I saw in London it was a nice change. If I was Brian I wouldn't want to play anywhere else ;) I'm surprised it took them 3 years to play there. |
| Marcelo_argentina 22.11.2008 12:40 |
Fucking amazing..Argentina is the best Queen crowd ever!! Please I want the fucking DVD!!! We love you!!!!!!!! |
| April 22.11.2008 17:49 |
I always knew that Latin America and especially Argentina wouldn't let us and Queen down! Great, guys! |
| bulsara76 22.11.2008 18:37 |
Here it's the part Canal 13 broadcasted http://rapidshare.com/files/166146680/Video.rar |

bulsara76 wrote: Here it's the part Canal 13 broadcasted http://rapidshare.com/files/166146680/Video.rar Thanks for that. Yeah they were smokin'! I've just started watching it, but that is definitely the best TYMD I've heard from Q+PR. |
| e-man 23.11.2008 06:18 |
I love that clip....GOD I wish they release something like this instead of the FIRST gig on the tour. as much as I'd like to see a QPR dvd with 350 000 people in the audience, these south america dates are a much better representation of the tour as a whole I'm guessing this is not shot in hd though? however; the shots of Roger from the side of the kit seem to be from the cameras already on stage with QPR, which are in hd?? |
| e-man 23.11.2008 06:19 |
does anyone know why they stopped broadcasting after seagull?? technical problems or legal issues?? I'm guessing they recorded the whole thing....? |
| BlueRock 23.11.2008 19:06 |
Surf's Up my dears.... So I guess this one is from that TV broadcasting(??): link Can anybody find some more? |
| brians wig 23.11.2008 19:35 |
Nope. Surf's Up is from the webcast. |
| patr1c1a 26.11.2008 19:39 |
I'm still not sure if the concert was broadcasted on TV. Was it? Does anyone have the tape? There were cameras, and I saw a little bit of it on a news tv show, so there has to be a recording. Any ideas on where to find it? |
| L-R-TIGER1994 27.11.2008 10:18 |
Part of the show will be brodcasted this Saturday on La Viola(TN) at around 10pm. |
| IReallyLoveQueen 23.08.2010 15:56 |
I LOVE QUEEN |
